They better give us Singing Spears with Two handed spear usage( one handed spear, no shield, animations look ridiculous, not to mention it is ( Survival Hunter WoW Legion!!) It better have longer reach and at least match the regular Space Marine weapons for clang(centering the melee around that was one of the worst design decision made ) and it better be fast!!!!!!! It's so crazy that our melee isn't as fast as a a POWER FIST!!!! Two handed chainsword for the SS would be cool as well, as another choice outside of the Exarch Claw, I'd sacrifice the pistol happily in both cases. Well a space elf can dream.
The new trailer has like ~2 seconds of Banshee, (1:02) and a quick shot of a warlock with a green-glowing sword (1:17). I didn't spot any claws (or any Orks, for that matter), but that might be what they're referring to. Still pawing through it for more clues.
If two-handed weapons aren't in, does that mean we're not having the singing spears by launch? Boo hiss!
The Singing Spear will come in a one-handed version, so it should be in at launch. Also, it would be terrible PR if they released the game without one of their relic weapons (Wyrmfang Spear).
