So the new LSM/CSM backpacks look great, some of the best looking cosmetics in the game and seemed reasonably priced being 3k, then 4k and 5k, usable on everything but Jump classes. No problem there. Do you know what I do have a problem with? A single Eldar shoulder that is locked to 3 classes, 4 at most, has a very simple model and is restricted to either the left or the right shoulder cost 5k. The new scorpion shoulders which are pathetically simple(not the problem) are priced at 5k for each shoulder and SINGLE class. Seriously guys? I am convinced you guys either do not give 2 shits about the pricing for Eldar(shrines still being 10k points at this), or are purposefully ripping the faction off because the lack of cosmetics so you have to get money from us somehow(again shrines pricing and pricing for all the other pieces for the most part.) None of the other factions are priced so absurdly and almost all of their cosmetics are useable by all classes with very few exceptions. Or as @Katitof pointed out in another thread, the Ancestral Heavy aspect armor was originally the torso, and both shoulders for around 5k RTC in the old store. Now it's 10k for the torso and the shoulders, which are currently on UAT and priced at 5k for each shoulder. What exactly are you guys doing other than completely price gouging to milk money and or not giving 2 shits. Can we please have some sort of explanation? Damn that's just depressing. I understand we're only 19% but eldar visuals are just so meh. Everyones a different color dire avenger, its like playing as the power rangers except there at least the pink ranger had a skirt. Than you go to the warlocks messed up arms and weird robe physics, how badly it also clips on female warlocks. Than we have the only advanced armors with ZERO cosmetic changes, except the dark reaper and slightly darker shoulders on the 'lock. Despite the fact we need to unlock 7 different armors. Than smack us with some pretty lame rtc cosmetics... Come on bE... Just try a little Edit: forgot to mention the vet classes..oooooooh we light up such effort
Eldar Aspect Warrior cosmetics really should be cross-compatible, at least within armor-class("heavy" stuff goes on reapers scorpions and dragons, "light" stuff goes on avengers banshees and hawks). I like the fact that that's all we do, especially considering "revered" bullshit isn't even proper Exarchs.
But Eldar players are free to delete and start new characters of other subfactions when they get bored, and they get to keep all their non-subfaction cosmetics. (Satirical comment) If touching yourself is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
TBH though, you're subfaction gear would just be recolors anyway....you guys dont really like to distinguish yourselves from eachother that much. Most "subfaction" gear for LSM is just a shoulder pad or chest with the chapter symbol too. Not really that much different, certainly no custom shoulder pad design or specific backpacks etc. I can't really think of any subfaction gear for Orks either, it's all generic for the most part with a custom color job. I think Space Wolves are really the only ones who can say they feel "custom".
Well we all can tell what chapter marines are from, same with Orkz really. Eldar yeah that's why I put the because an aspect warrior is an aspect warrior. THOUGH I will say they could give us subfaction Eldar stuff by doing things like weapon symbols sorta like the art for the gatekeepers bastion I'd buy an Ulthwe charm for my guns..
