I don't know much about eldar, but one of the things i thought i knew was that they are unable to repopulate. Is this true or am i confused? Seems like an army that can't ever replenish its numbers would have a very difficult time in a mass scale crusade?
They still have kids, but the life on a Craftworld is well... complicated. not many Eldar get in a relation to reproduce and raise a child(s). So Eldar are still born, but the rate is just so low that they can't afford Big war losses. Dark Eldar come in 2 forms, the True Born and the low born. True born are basically natural birth and the low born are test tube Eldar. The dark Eldar have many wacky ways of extending their life span by swapping bodies and being resurrected from the dead with other crazy procedures (lots of pain and agony of others).
Just hope you guys don't have a "baby boom". Cause then you would just be buffing all those Slanesh worshipping CSM out there :O
Im interested in this is well! Why don't Eldar encourage its citizens to raise children? Surely they must have the resources on their craftworlds.
It would make sense for some worlds to mass reproduce. (Looks at sig) Actually no. It would make sense for all worlds to produce as quickly as possible, or allowable. While our savior is born when all the cores combine the more souls that inhabit the cores the stronger the savior shall be.
