What about their vehicle speed and agility though? That's the reason they are squishier, just like your infantry.

You ok with making them slower and less agile?

Also, let me just thank you for admitting the double meltas are bullcrap. It's impressive to see an Eldar player actually admitting they have something overpowered, even if it is their only thing.

  2. Whatever it is, i don't know, but matches against eldar arn't fun. No matter if you win or if you loose, no intense battles, hiding behind cover, advancing a little, trying to push back, tactical retreat... it's just instakill, respawning, oh, rhino is gone, running, running, long range instakill, respawn, running (rhino still not ready again) hawks flying around that i can't hit, instakill...

Maybe i suck. Totally possible, can't explain then why i do well vs. the other 2 Factions, but i for my part cancel eldar queues. It's not fun, and as i bought this game to have fun

It was fun, shortly after the patch hit. My latency improved a lot and as such i didn't have to predict Eldar movement, but could actually react to it. If i did the wrong thing i was still instakilled, but at least i knew what i did wrong and it felt fair. Eldar would also go down as fast as they could kill me.
Now it's back in the duster again with 200-300ms. Im dead well before i start my D-Bash, so i see my character cowering down to protect himself, but the fast-attack still hits and i am dead...

And until this get's better again, i cancel Eldar queues

Eldar vehicle HP is mostly fine(aside from the Warp Hunter, since it cannot use its agility), however Eldar vehicles also have a weak spot at the front, which is annoying as hell.

As for Melta Bombs, I feel like some rebalancing can make them much better for all factions. Here's what I have in mind:
    • A single Melta Bomb can take a vehicle out from full HP.
    • It takes several seconds to attach it to the vehicle, so you can't just run to it and place it(taking damage can also potentially cancel the process).
    • You can't use resupply crates to get more Melta Bombs. Instead, there is a several minutes of cooldown between each use.
That way, Melta Bombs can only be used once in a few minutes, and you won't be able to use them on vehicles that are actively guarded. At the same time, it can award players who can sneak on enemy vehicles, as well as awarding teamplay.

To compensate for that, I think Melta(and Fusion) guns should get more damage against vehicles(their infantry damage seems quite fine at the moment), potentially in a form of expensive mods(could lead to interesting build decisions, where you have to choose between having powerful Meltagun, but no Melta Bomb, or take a Melta Bomb but have a weaker Melta Gun).

Nah bro, I would give up their ability to cap to rid the game of Fire Dragons solo-winning games when primarily on defense. Eldar can have a vehicle health buff as well if they want.

I don't think a lot of Eldar players aside from the veteran ones understand just how many games they win because of double meltas. Once you pay attention you'll notice that every time the enemy brings a Rhino/Trukk to cap a location they lose it within 30 seconds, that's enough for MAYBE one spawn out of it. Once it's gone they get killed off and a cap is impossible. Do that 3 times and the enemy's Rhino/Trukk is put on cooldown and they have to walk to the cap, and that's not possible to do against anyone let alone Eldar.

Give up flexibility on Tactical? Sure, go for it, make meltas remove capture key. I'm 100% fine with it and I'm sure a lot of people would make that choice.

They used to be squish at only 80%. Then they got nerfed again, and now Falcons lose to all other Tanks. And Warp Hunters die in less than a minute.

Yeah I know. Mainly because I'm the Dragon :p.

  6. They really need to get Vehicle Health up again on Eldar. Or you know what? leave the Health as it is now, but add a shield, that regenerates fast enough to make hit&run tactics work, but slow enough so it doesn't regenerate well before your melta cools down. Health and shield together should be at 80% of a Predators Health...
    Would that be OK?

I like the idea honestly, but make it so Meltas kill in one go only on the rear. Sides down to 25%, and front puts them at half health. This way people could attempt to guard the rear more by backing it up against a wall for a little bit of pseudo counter-play. As for planting time, two seconds standing still seems fine I would say.

Also make it % based not flat damage that way it's balanced across all factions.

Was about to post that same idea. Shield sounds like the best solution and it should work with the supposed Eldar playstyle very well. That way, a good Eldar driver can keep his vehicle mostly unharmed by moving away once his shield goes down. Falcons will still lose to everything in a straight fight, but they'll be able to do hit-and-run tactics, same with Warp Hunter, which can make ordnance much more engaging.

Did somebody say Serpent Shield?
  10. Exactly my thought. Facetank a Predator with a Falcon and you loose. But once your shield go down, use your mobility, get behind cover, jus to strike again with a fully "restored" Falcon. Repeat to get the vehicle down.

Would require Predators to follow Eldar vehicles, and if the eldar play smart, wich i admit they usually do, that predator would find one or two firedragons while chasing the falcon...
