Just dont live off of that list. I dont think anything is set in stone so anything could change at a moments notice. Like the Wraithguard as told to us is not really a class but and ability the warlocks will be able to manifest ie. the warlock, before he/she ports to the surface can decide to transfer their soul into a wraithguard and pilot it.

And instead of classes we simply purchased the equipment (with experience points) for the different aspect armor and weapons if your class was "Aspect Warrior".Just a thought. :)

How about if they did some sort of progression model? This would help keep the Fluff in line with following one path with another and would keep guardians needed to operate vehicles and move supplies.

I posted something like this soon after the boards opened up but the file is no longer available. Not the end all of progessions lists, just some random thoughts.

  4. The armed Eldar will have to be very mobile, walking groups fighting dispersed, fighting together

Ex: An armed enemy is detected, the battle groups will towards her, encircling and attacking from différents sides at different times, tanks grouped into one group, powerful and mobile, attacking flank enemies or arrears and backing for a new attack on the enemy also taken devoid!

An infantry unit will have to be a form of escort tank in combat, both infantry against the enemy tanks.

In front of groups of scouts on patrol for vision.
And commandos behind enemy lines for sabotage, ambush, and destabilization of the enemies and separation of forces for research or commandos.

It will hit hard and hit fast, do not look for the war of position.
  5. Love Warp Spiders, need them next to Striking Scorpions

I'd love to see all Aspects but the problem is that the other factions don't have nearly as many classes.
Personally I think it would be fine if Eldar had more classes than the other factions. For example, you can customize a Tactical Marine's loadout a lot more than you could that of a Dire Avenger.

But I'm afraid many people would look at it and say it's unfair that Eldar get more classes. Even though all factions would have all roles covered. It's a tricky issue. Guess we'll just have to wait and see for now.

And on a slightly related note, I hope our Hero classes won't be Exarchs. Exarchs are cool and all but their gameplay style would be too similar to the normal Aspects. I'd rather see Farseers, Harlequins, Death Jesters etc as Heroes.(I'd have put Warlocks here as well but apparently that's a normal class in EC)

Life is unfair, the devs already told us that we will probably have 1 more class at launch ;)
