The pause after doing some actions is quite annoying. Climbing, throwing a grenade and few other things which just feel jarring when moving over the battlefield. There should be a fluidity to the Eldar movement. I did some comparisons with how the a SM feels against the SS and even the Devastator felt like a park-our runner as opposed to the SS. The may be no actual speed difference but the SM felt like it was covering ground quicker than a Eldar. The Dark Reaper in comparison felt like it was under water. Charge speed and distance seems lower by a significant amount between CSM/SM and the Eldar. Still early days, so I'll keeping an open mind as to what will change. Just imagine what guff the devs will have to pull off to get a Harlequin into the game as a playable char...!
I'll have to ask devs in next twitch about this subject since it has a lot of replys, hopefully they will notice question and give a valid answer
Eldar need to be faster for the sake of being different. Right now they're just skinny space marines with shittier weapons and less options. The only real moments where I feel particularly agile or nimble is when I climb on boxes as a dire avenger to avoid the melee train
Another major thing that needs fixed for them, C/LSM suffer from this as well to a much lesser extent, is the stun after dropping from some height such as vaulting over a railing. I had a few instances today where I vaulted over some railing to try to escape from some MoN and after landing on the ground I was stunned for what seemed like 2-3 seconds. The MoN had time to vault, recover from his stun and kill me before I had control back.
Please, please, PLEASE stop referring to Traitor Assault as Mark of Nurgle, they're two very different and totally seperate things.
Yup Traitor assault is like the ground assault of Lsm and Mark of nurgle MoN is just a wargear . there will be alot of Marks like undivided Khorne tzeentch slaanesh
Up until very recently the only class that involved the mark of nurgle was the chaos ground assault and practically everyone called them that. My "deepest apologies" for calling them something that they have been called since they were added to the game up until very recently.
Adapt or die Eldar I would agree with a lot of the posts above. Vault/drop "stun" times feel soooo long. It can definitely be played around (and even gives you an advantage if an enemy chases you over a long enough drop), but it's frustrating to jump down 6 feet and spend 3 seconds composing yourself while under enemy fire.
I'm sure you are not over 60yo and can still quickly learn new things instead of being stuck in "back in the day" realm.
I'm pretty sure that most LSM who post about "MoN is OP!" don't actually realize that MoN is now wargear and not a class, and that they think they're talking about the class. I don't know why this is proving difficult for people, but I'd still bet that this misidentification from them is part of the reason that we've heard it's going to be further nerfed.
