Well if that is really the case, I was ready for rolling Eldar all the way but with these classes to begin with and with no advanced classes within those main classes I'm starting rethink my choice of going Eldar, maybe another faction will suit me more, I'll have to wait and see :p Anyways i'll still wait for Dark Eldar how long that may take..

I get them trying to stay away but I just don't see why they don't make sense in what will probably be a very important war.

What do you mean by advanced classes?

Well a guardian will eventually turn into something else a main class>advanced class and I don't think that will be the case in EC

wut... PM when they say that? That big info thread said long-range classes. Then, somewhere else there was Camoflauge or a stealth mechanic looked at for Eldar.

ahhh... Back on track to a more linear fashion, why isn't there a Swooping Hawk Picture D=>

That sounds like a vertical progression if you know what I mean and the devs have said that they want horizontal progression. Really hope that makes sense.

Not sure actually so we MAY actually have them which is cool. It was about not wanting the game becoming a sniper war.

I think they meant that Wraithguard are a higher tier 'class' that is unlocked as part of the Warlock exp progression.
On the battlefield I think that they will appear as a spawn in exactly the same way as you would spawn in any class. Of course it could operate as you suggest as well.
However the bit that interested me was the fact that they are only supposed to reach their full potential when augmented by a Warlock, which indicates that there may be a strong class synergy between other warlocks on the battlefield and the Wraithguard.

As for the rest of it, well I'm a bit worried at how static the units are and the fact that the only real CC class was a support unit that will probably be better placed escorting other units to help them out.
They did mention that the Eldar will be tailored to hit and run attacks, but as most of the units shown were your standard shooty types that may be difficult to work in.

From this I'm speculating that the warlock will be able to be built one of two ways:
A close combat battle psyker with powers intended to debuff and deal damage. or
A ranged support Psyker with unit buffing powers.

These two could lead to the Wraithblade and Wraithguard respectively.

Edit- I think having Guardians in there is just crazy TBH.. but I'm reckoning that they will have a very low REQ cost to spawn. Even still they really aren't on par with a marine as a class.

Same reason the Dire Avengers wasnt in the picture?

I see the addition of cc units later so hit and run attacks can be <close combat unit> attacks while ranged units giving support fire and maybe some units doing rapid strikes if suited.

because not every class is represented
    we have
    SM
    apotecharium/devastator/assault/terminator/librarian(not represented)
    csm
    chosen/havoc/raptor/terminator/sorcerer(not represented)
    orks
    mekboy/loota/stormboy/meganob/weirdboy(not represented)
    eldar
    guardian/dark reaper/swooping hawk(not represented)/wraithguard/warlock

but in my opinion there're more classes that they are hiding
