I don't mind being aptly punished for strategic incompetency so long as we have sufficient information going into a conflict.
True, if the Eldar had some function for representing the seers' ability to read the skeins of fate, or some other info retrieval, then yeah, I could live with it. Just require more planning on our part I suppose
Well, getting 'pre' information telling us what the enemy will certainly spawn as is a bit beyond us. But perhaps if our deployment cycle is, say, a day behind everyone else's or so, we can check up on what they've picked. Or if it's not going to work like that, then perhaps we can see a better map than they can, see who's already deployed, and how much Req. Pointage the enemy has to spend on the conflict. Little things like that.
As long as i am not gated for life in regards to one position, if i start of as an female or male characters i want to be able to pursue that path within how the lore goes, so if i want to be able to be a female scorpion i want to pursue that path and unlock it further.
Splinter. Shuriken. Dragon. Long ago, the three nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when She Who Thirsts attacked...
As we have a horizontal system of leveling up, it's not complicated to solve the "gendre" problem. Women should be able to open Banshee class much more earlier then men and men should be able to open Scorpion class much more ealrier then women. So we can have lots of female Banshee with a few male skillful players, who REALLY want to play a Banshee. And mirror situation among Scorpions. P.S. Sorry for my english)
Yes, but why? It will be off-putting for new male players who really want to play as a Banshee, and female players who really want to play as a Scorpion. As far as I can tell, this system would just be unnecessary and give the wrong impression to new players. After the bad press with the Founders' Program, that's the last thing needed...
not too mention that as stated a few times above the female exclusion from Scorpions at any level of progression isnt supported by canon or fluff..it appears to be a completely "random" concept dreamt up by someone who doesnt know Eldar, at least the male exclusion from Banshee could be argued with the fact male Banshees are indeed uncommon, but again though not unsupported by either lore or fluff
