I really like that these events continually get more people, new regulars and new faces, and the fact that these players are all really good. It's a good sign the Eldar are going to be formidable when they actually get a race to play with. I'm really glad a lot of regulars didn't show yesterday. A lot of the people who were there, we're either new or just dropping in. I hope the fact that we could have easily doubled the event size should more of the regulars and/or casuals have been there means it's a major milestone for the event itself. 30 potentials is nothing to laugh at, especially with more than a dozen who have repeatedly told me they're waiting for Eldar before they even touch EC again.
It bodes well, doesn't it? Think we should all stream, make videos post anywhere and everywhere we can and draw as much attention the Eldar faction and the Eldar Game Event as possible, as soon as the Eldar drop in game. For every Eldar waiting in the wings there's a whole bunch of players new to the universe of WH40k. If we can draw those people in as well it would be quite a coup. Lot's of chatter about how good the Scorpion stealth is, how interesting the Hawk's look, how cool our vehicles are recently, even from tried and true Marine players... If we get similar hype around Banshees and Warlocks and bE can make their mechanics stand out not just from the other EC factions but from other games I think we may well start seeing a steady flow of new Eldar recruits.
I agree. I used to stream the events live, but for many reasons I stopped. Eldar propaganda reels would be hilarious though.

I still find it strange that it seems like Eldar, Orkz and Space Marine each will have an campaign, or at least a campaign which is actually geared towards them. Also, it seems like Macha will be the main character for the Eldar, so maybe the Eldar's quest will be to find a way for Macha to experience the full pleasures of life? Or whatever meme we use on her
I'm just hyped for there to be an actual player-council. Legit autarchs and the like. I also wonder if we'll end up like the Eldar with different people consistently playing the same classes with friends, like shrines.
Player Council is post-launch as far as we know. And most Eldar players I know will main 1-2 classes, but everyone should ideally be able to play Dire Avenger and Warlock.
Don't let me forget @Redthirst, I owe you the stats we were talking about eariler. @Operaror , not sure if Ive seen you at the EGNs but it's interesting to see the culture of the faction develop. You might be suprised at what you might find there.
