For the most part. Had some serious miscommunication that nearly costed us a game, but we still managed to win it in the end. Great event overall, though current Warparties couldn't support our numbers properly.
Insanely successful event today. Great to see about 15+ people over the course of the event - a solid 13 people for almost 4 straight hours, making it the biggest one yet. And without a single playable Eldar in it. My personal highlight was this game on Olipsis. Our 5 man warparty vs a 3 guild premade, losing to our coordinated assault at the very last second. Proving that even 5 man Eldar squads are capable, and an event of 13 Eldar players without Eldar to play with are still the definition of excellence. We had plenty more success stories, including the joint effort of WP and our 2 other Warparties crushing it on every level, every game. A ton of fun. It's good to know that the Eldar have competent, easily cooperative communities - we are truly a force to be reckoned with even if the other races don't realize it yet. Great that everyone who joined just started killing efficiently and didn't require armchair generals barking at them. You knew what needed to happen and just did it and the collaboration of different war parties just made it that much better. Thank you all. A ton of new faces today as well. Even @DJPenguin tried his hand for the first time in our group and obviously the results were pretty outstanding. Loving the fact that the Eldar community gets stronger and closer every week. Whether it was us slaying everything with ease as a full group, or being the 3 man mechanized squad of sheer terror I couldn't have planned it better. Love playing with all of you and I hope to see you all again at the next one (2 weeks for sure, next week possibly - but not hosted by me). Thank you all again.
Good good! Agreed. 10+ war parties need to be a thing. And soon. @Demetri_Dominov the WP teamspeak structure, did you get the hang of it in the end and is it something we can utilise for MS? Or will not be so important if the aforementioned 10+ war parties happen?
We already have a Pre-planned structure that was made when Ganelon was in charge which is pretty similar, we just haven't enacted it yet as the plan was to use it when Eldar were finally in the game.
Spoiler It certainly was a tonne of fun and I eagerly look forward to showing the Monkeigh the fool extent of the Eldars might in the future.
