A ton of new faces, which was awesome; 7 and a half hours, innumerable kills, countless executions, many victories in EC, scores slain in DoW2, and 3 completions of Last Stand later... this marathon is finally over. Thank you all for coming, I know Zed is now continuing the motion with his own guild if you've feared you've missed out I would try to get a hold of him. It was a great day and I can't wait to see you all again next week, and especially when the Eldar join EC. I am currently uploading the Twitch recordings to YouTube. When done, they'll be posted here. See you all next week!
We only got a few games in, think I came to the party too late. Was quite fun though! So much better with an actual team.
I need to look through the stream and see if there is any video of me executing Demetri It was rather fun, though I didn't get my mic to work until we started playing DoW:II (and only partially that is). Btw, I am not very good a DoW:II, my 2-3 hours of gametime doesn't make me very competitive.
DoW2 is one of those games where experience and skill level makes a huge exponential difference, so overall I wouldn't worry about it. The main thing is whether or not you had fun WHICH I DIDN'T RRRRRRRRRRRRRGH BACKCAPPING AI FILTH and I'm sure we all did
That last game against the Orkz where rather... overrun... Stupid tank swarm... At least I got a lot of points for taking out the tanks, while they where pummeling your spawn point
Here's the first installment. I wasn't planning on doing a Twitch, so the recording doesn't have my microphone synced to the program. Sorry if you were looking forward to hearing my sensual voice, but you can probably get a good laugh at the one sided conversations people are having with me! I have 3 other video's (about the same length) stuck at 95%. Not sure how to fix it so I may have to restart the uploads. They all share the same mic problem. I may just stick to recording if I don't plan ahead to stream. I'll spare you all the technicals, there will only be one video this time since the others didn't work. We'll have to record as well as stream next time. (Probably just record unless requested to stream)
