Actually, if I'd had Eldar related artwork, then I'd show that first Contrary to what might you think, I'm not that big of a fan of SM and CSM. It just happens that I've worked for a Dawn of War 2 - Retribution mod (Elite Mod) group and I started working on the new units/factions. It happened to be the Grey Knights and the others. But my first ever pic I've made them was actually a Painboy (which I use as an avatar now) We do have plans to draw a new portrait for every DLC and sub-factions in time, its just I havent had the time at the moment for a few weeks now, to continue my work x) Which would be the IG + Krieg DLC. Personally, my fave factions are Tau, Eldar and Ork. And Necron + Tyranid because of looks and lore Also, when this game lunches, I'd join either Eldar or Ork side, since I dont like SM and CSM.
Closest thing I have for Eldar-like artwork would be these. Only difference is that its fantasy setting and not Warhammer universe ^^; (WoW blood elf and LotR wood elf respectively xD) (open the pics in new tab to see in bigger rez btw)
Not sure, I havent seen a post declaring the start of the competition or what are the rules to be honest by devs here :/ There was only hint in the Newsletter but nothing since (as far as I know...) They'd need rules and other stuff (like deadline, what can be submitted, format, ect, ect...) to post here on the forums or on the main site so we have a cule what are the borders we can work inside of ^^
