Eldar currently

  1. ADAD is not dead - just slowed in case you missed the memo.

As for Stalker, I guess you would just greatly reduce its damage at short range; as if you increased spread it would become a proper shotgun.

You Eldar should just queue against us Orks - so that you may retain the element of speed.

Xenos on Xenos action as planned.......

But this is still not true. Even relative DPS is around the same (the ASC is slightly ahead, actually). The difference is the damage dropoff for the ASC is really severe in comparison to the Bolter/Shoota so unless you're pretty much right on top of your opponent, then you're gonna lose.
This part is definitely true, though point blank is the only range at which it is about even.
Thing is, how is that even remotely fair? When playing the other three factions, you can do whatever you like and still compete, but when playing Eldar you have to play tactically and as a coherent team to perform at the same level? Where's the balance there? It just means when the other factions do the same, they wipe the floor with Eldar every time. Oh, wait. That is what happens. Go figure.

Every time I play panzies, I always repeat my personal mantra: "if he sees me, run in the opposite direction; if I see him first, approach him in a way to deal the most damage possible".

As long as I keep to that rule, I do fine as a panzie.

And what do you do if they have all entrances covered? You're even more screwed if it's Maggon or Zedek.

Of course I'm exagerating, but the Eldar community has never been this tiny. In all due honesty, I'd say there is hardly more than 30 active Eldar players (and by active I mean "that actively contributes to the forum life, no necessarily plays Eldar, but at least used to on a regular basis") on the forums lately.
Please accept my appologises for forgetting about the Eldar guilds.

I would like to play sometimes. But unfortunately there a rarely any matches available when I log in. I usually get bored and switch games after 10 minutes in queue.

This is the main problem. We need to have a queue system which goes like this:

    [Queue as any Faction] button
    Faction preference:
    1. Faction A
    2. Faction B
    3. Faction C
    4. Faction D

(for convenience, I'd have these four be drag-and-drop components)

The matchmaker can then parse the entire in-game playerbase, sort players into their preferred Faction, parse again for numbers, and where anyone whose first option Faction has insufficient players they are filtered into their second option and so on.

In the case of War Parties, you'd have exactly the same thing, with the War Party leader in control of the Faction order preference.

Yeah, guys. I'll be back hosting games very shortly. I'm honestly surprised no one other than @Orkan did so in the month that I was gone.

We'd love to fight Orks, but that match up is crazy rare to find. Who among you is the Warboss now? I'd still like to set up a time for a good matchup. Maybe even as early as this Saturday.
  10. I did join a game yesterday and was surprised to see @Thrakka and a stack of DLB attacking Spikey Boyz in Agnathio; close game at the end though. I only joined half way into the round.

Ultimately Ork players come and go but I see some names often enough.
