Ya, unfortunately Haywire have been nerfed into the ground and this was probably about 2 weeks ago, don't quote me. They now do next to no damage and the vehicle isn't really effected, it can still steam full speed ahead and drive the obstacle coarse with little stress from Haywire. So it is back to competing with the Hawkseer.
Feels like I am the eldar player at the start of 6th edition all over again with a codex made for 4th and most of my models not getting an update since 3rd... bleh.
@Demetri_Dominov Can confirm, as of latest patch, the Haywire gives a minor slow. The slow is worse than a Grav guns.
Content Update 1: Thursday 18 Nov From tests performed in the garrison, Haywire grenades paralyze a tank's systems, but the tank conserves its momentum. Breaks work though. The driver isn't able to turn or accelerate, but remains able to slow down. The Haywire grenade paralyzes the tank for about 4 sec. If the tank collides with terrain, it will inevitably stop. If the tank is already stopped, it won't be able to start engines until the stun fades out. You can then chain the grenades to make sure the tanks doesn't move again for a time. It took us about 5 Haywire successive grenades to fully stop a full boosted Wave Serpent. Note: Multiple grenades landed at the same time stun AND slows the tank, for a faster stopping effect. It does stop a tank now, but it takes either a very coordinated hawk team, or a lot of dedication and great flying ability to prevent a tank from moving.
