A thought, would the Corsairs have a small craftworld to go to or would thye just operate out of an exisitng craftworld. (an in from the lower levels of it) or have a small little colonies dotted around Eldar space? i am sure that they would have some sort of housing on craftworlds (except DE) and maybe a area on Commorragh as a base of operations but other than that would they be able to take a small moon, and create a Corsair Hidey Hole?
From what I understand sometimes they have fortresses or planets with minor bases, but they mostly operate as fleet-based armies. It makes sense to make your most lethal weapon your home and it means they are always ready for action.
It makes sense yes and i like the idea of the fleet home base, but how would they implement it in EC, would they just make it that if you to Point A you will see the Corsiar fleet for the particaular group in orbit? then everyone could find it (or can it move!!) and when compared to a Capter fortress it seems vunerable to attack if there are not lost of vessels in the fleet.
good point, but as the EC get developed more and more spaceness is involved will you be able to colonise?
Eternal Crusade is not a colonization game. Think Planetside 1/2. An MMO version of Star Wars Battlefront 1/2. But 40K and with melee stuff.
I think Port Carmine or Lost Souls had some fluff about corsairs having a base there. Also the Null City and sprawls could house them. Port Carmine at least was from where Sliscus started the Sky Serpents. About craftworlds, Lugganath is mentioned to be close with corsairs, and that other craftworlds don't even consider them as much better than them. Would imagine it has some permanent habitation for them too.
