- Etrigen After finishing his Q and A with Black Skull off screen, Etrigen made for where Zamehir was being held. Etrigen offered to bring the injured man to the nearest healing shrine. Sadly after taking his eyes off the Death Jester to check the hall for anyone near by, Etrigen looked back to find his former opponent missing. A small pool of dark blood the only thing that remained of him. 'How did he do that? I could have sworn I hit close to something vital. He shouldn't be moving.' He thought as he gathered up his equipment. He continued on, after praying to Isha for his health. Along the way he started to hear stange noises... Then Suddenly! Etrigen turned a corner to find the youth DalRan wandering the halls with a strange weapon. "DalRan? What are you doing out of your room? What happened to you and where did you get that? It looks military issue." He fixed DalRan with a starp stare. Etrigen was conflicted, he needed to help Zamehir and here was DalRan who looked like he just fought off a horde of wild animals. Again showing a side he didn't much care for, depending on his explanation that is. 'I'm not really one to talk, I'm out of my room past curfew as well. He might have a good reason.'
DalRan was about to shoot the gladiator with his caster, just barely holding off the trigger. "I heard lots of screaming outside of my room, and I knew it wouldn't be good if I was trapped in a small space, so I geared up and then found some guards....we fought....phantoms off, but we barely survived.....the security officer asked me to patrol a few strange places on the ship..." he gestured to the hallway he was in. "So.....umm.....you look like you have had a fight, what happened?" he looked Etrigen up and down.
- Etrigen "I ran into an old acquaintance while I searched for Zamehir. Have you met him? He lives with my family. I promised to keep him safe, on the same day he's abducted. Not doing so well at the moment with that. That acquaintance I mentioned is a follower of the Laughing God, a Harlequin. Getting him to talk wasn't easy, but I eventually found were Zamehir has been taken. I'm on my way there now. Which areas did you say were strange?" Not only had DalRan acted to help someone in danger without hesitation. He had also fought off the mindless predators of the aether and saved lives. No easy feat to say the least. 'Impressive, but the boy seems shaken. His arm is scarred. He's probably still in shock from the attack.' "Take a deep breath son. You must calm your mind if you are to continue forward. If you return to your room you will be safe. I've seen the powerful wards that have been placed upon them. There's no shame in it."
"Harlequins? I saw one the other day....hmm, what would they want with the child....well.....he does have great psychic abilities for his age....I'll come along with you, you don't look great right now, and if I tread back to my cabin I will be shredded by those.....things....hmm, well, three hallways, this one, and two others, and the training room, you lead the way, I will cover you with this..." he moved his caster around.
- Etrigen "It would seem more is going on aboard this ship than meets the eyes. I've been wondering that same question. Not that Cegorach ever cared to explain himself or his jests to anyone. Very well, there's safety in numbers. I've never witnessed Zamehir's abilities, but his sensitivity to immaterial forces is high for someone his age. Then again, I'm not really sure how old Zamehir is to be honest. The boy is quite the mystery. Not that it really matters. All that matters is everyone is safe. Righ DalRan?" Etrigen smiled warmly to the brave youth. His opinion of him only getting better. Meanwhile - Kaija and Ajax Ajax was snoring lightly, a small anmount of drool leaking from his mouth onto his pillow. Kaija had given up on removing the traking bracelet. She had been asleep when her father left. Now however she stirred. The activity aboard the ship reaching her senses. Kaija simply lay there in bed, wondering what her father was up to, where Zamehir had disappeared to, and who was causing that terrible howling sounds? Maybe Kurin knew... 'If the old pervert left to visit that witch I'll break his legs.' She thought. Ajax continued to snore, stirring enough to push one of his pillows off the bed. Then returned back to deep slumber. "Zamehir?" He said in his sleep.
"Yeah....at least we're all still alive....those ghosts can cause some damage, and I've heard of what Harlequins can do before....well, I think we should go to the training room, it seems like it would be a good place for them to set up shop, and I also had it marked out for me to go to...it's some way from here...who knows what could be lurking in our way, oh well, we've got clowns to deal with, and a child that I don't believe exist, let's get to it." He walked down the hall, not exactly full of confidence, but determined.
Kurin mumbles a bit, she feels Kaijas thoughts as she sits in her room and she can feel reika, who is sleeping in the bed beside Kurin, surprisingly deep. Kurin focuses on Kaija for a moment, sending a thought to her "Kaija... How are you feeling?"
Dunvel flashed a smile under his helm and picked up his blade. "Sure" he relied with a hard stomp to the masks's face
The Mime had attempte to finish Dunvel off, either by explosion or by claw gutting. He wouldn't get the chance, Dunvel's thick heel making sure of that. Frowning Mime stopped moving, but otherise still alive. "Not going for the kill and agreeing with me? Progress! Now to the next challange! There's some friction between my trouper members at the moment. You've met the most troublesome earlier. Trapping the impatient fool in her own thoughts. She's gone off the script and has started improvising. It's hard to watch and you must confront her! You'll find her at the Training hall shortly. If you hurry you might catch up with her before she reaches Zamehir. Take too long and I can't guarantee the child's safety. So hop to it, the show must go on!" With that finished, the projector exploded in a shower of sparks and lights. When the smoke cleared, the white mist from before dissipated and the Frowning Mime had vanished. What remained of the odd device was chared chunks and evaprating wraithbone. Inside was a blood red gem, it was undamaged. It appeared to be the medium Nito used to communicate through during the Warpstorm. Very useful and valuable.
- Etrigen Etrigen started walking towards the Training hall after DalRan. It would be a long walk from their location, but it was safer than being cornered in a force lift. His weapons at the ready, prepared for these "phantoms." "That's where I was told Zamehir was taken. I assure you Zamehir is very real. From what I was told, it would seem there's more to him than meets the eye. Zamehir didn't board the ship like we did. The crew found him aboard and decided to take him in. They thought it best he stay with a family. However there are those who think the child represents a danger to the ship. The Harlequin wouldn't go into greater detail, but I sensed he was conflicted with what they should do with Zamehir. I won't allow them to decide the child's fate. He's one of us, and can decide that for himself... DalRan, what do these phantoms look like?" Etrigen says as he noticed a shape dart from behind a lit corner. - Kaija 'What do you want Kurin? If your looking for my father, he's out. I don't know where.' Kaija thought as she played with her blue Tear of Isha neckless. Ajax mother had gifted her with it when she and Etrigen wed. This was just before Ajax was born. Had it really been almost ninety years since then?
