What were those things. This was the second time they had appeared. There was now more then one. They were no pyskers, but yet they had that technology. Then more talk about the child, what could it be so important of it. Also it? Dunvel was still not sure if it was a male or female. It didn't mattered much, but it acted like a female yet looked like a boy. Time will only tell of why that child is so imp- Dunvel's thoughts were interuppted by the loud noise that Kaija was creating with her brother. He gave her a hard stare, a made sure his frustration showed by giving her a 'kick'. (Basically a little shock and you would feel it come from Dunvel's direction.)
Zamehir was reading a lot of emotions. Ajax was angry, but happy. Kaija was embarasses, but was sure she was not. Reika was scared, worried, nervous, and was building energy... 'no' In a flash. Zamehir had Ajax, Kaija, and Reika in the air. His hand exstended, left eye glowing white, the right however was red from a popped blood vessel. They were simply floated in midair, far enough away to not be touching, but otherwise unharmed. Before any could respond, they were set back down where they were. Zamehir was out of breath and sweating. His little body was shaking. "Too loud. I'm gonna go to bed. I-i'm sorry." Zamehir did not know what that was or how it had been done. But his head and eye hurt, nothing but the embrace of sleep could help. 'Just need quiet... Too much noise!' The Warpstorm was fast aproaching. The readings showed it to be fluctuating in size and intensity. For a few moments, it would appear minor and as a calm nebula. A few minutes and it would be a ragging inferno of an astral body. The Captain was at the helm, ensuring the ship's shields were ready. The curfew was now enforced. Ship security was encouraging everyone to return to their rooms. Lieutenant Calypsa was in the Dining Hall, a number of security officers were with her. "Return to your rooms. This is your last warning!" In the Black Box, the space where the Harlequin's meet. Similar to a closed space between space, mantained by the Shadowseer. Nito was guardian and transceiver for his Troupe, and he was not enjoying it. None could see or hear them here. 'I haven't gotten to play with the crew today. For shame.' Blue Demon mask spoke next. The discussion now finished. "It is decided. As the storm rages, we move." "I still don't agree with this decision. There is no need!" Idraman protested, his words falling on deaf ears. Once the Troupe Master finished talking, there were no more rehearsals. "So bright a flame lures moths, so bright a soul lures much worse." The Black Skull masked Deathjester mused aloud. "He will interfere! The Soulbane must be dealt with. I audition for the part." The Gold masked Trouper said brandishing a curved blade. The White frowning masked Mime placed a hand on the Trouper's shoulder. Whispering a hushed "Sssssh." Nothing else was said. The Trouper returned to kneeling. Not daring to look up. "What of the real threat? The audience is starting to become upset." Nito added. "I will return to the bridge and help coordinate the Exodites. Just promise me no one will be harmed. Especially the child. Please." Idraman demanded. "No lives will be lost, not on this stage. You have our word." Troupe Master Blue Demon said. With that Idraman left. The Harliquin's waited ten seconds... "PfffahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHA! Definitally has staying power. Can't wait to see that one's face at the punchline." Their laughter continued for some time. Within the storm a beast stirred. The Colony ship of the Exodites on its horizon.
- Etrigen It was Etrigen's turn to chuckle. It felt good to laugh, 'Don't worry. She does that every once in a while. Ajax is tougher than he looks. At least that hasn't changed. Ajax was always the little trouble maker. Taking things he shouldn't or thoughtlessly eating Kaija's treats. She would be so upset, but she would never really try to harm him. They'll break it up soon.' - Ajax and Kaija Floating was a new experience for Ajax, he very much liked it. However, he was confused on the how and who. Zamehir was glowing like Kurin, but he looked in pain. His right eye went red and they found themselves back where they were. Set down gently, but not without surprise. Ajax made to follow Zamehir, but turn back to check on Reika and his sister. "Reika are you okay? I didn't know Zamehir could do that. I'm going to see if he needs any help. I'll see you in class tomorrow! Bye!" Ajax made for the Exit just before the arrival of the security officers. Kaija had been both disoriented by Zamehir's and by a sudden creeping sensation she received just before take off. 'Dunvel! Is he doing this? I'll...' Before she could finish that thought, she had been set down. She heard Zamehir's apology and found his condition strange. 'Could he always do this? Why now? Did he always look that much like a female?' She would not find answer to these question in the Dining Hall. Like everyone else, she was lead out and then towards the living quarters. She lost sight of the girl Reika and DalRan seemed to be lost in the crowed. Not that she was looking for him or anything.
Kurin giggles and nods "Sibling are often like that Etrigen... Well, I will see you tomorrow. Hopefully we can train a bit" She sighes as he would feel an odd sensation. A psykik sigmal that almost felt like a kiss on the cheek. Or was it? It was hard to tell. But after that does Kurin's voice dissapears out of his head. But as Kurin stands in her room she hears a knocking. She walks over To the door and opens to find Reika standing outside "Reika? What can I help you with?" Reika bkushes more and whimpers a question if she can be with Kurin in her room. Kurin smiles "Of course Reika. Come in" She lets Reika inside and walks over to her own bed and sits down on it. Smiling at reika. Reika looks back at Kurin and blushes "C-can I sleep here?" Kurin looks a bit shocked but nods she don't really ask any questions about it since she is rather tired herself. So she lies down on her bed and drifts off. While Reika does the same:
DalRan pushed and glided along, only so barely impeded by the crowd, somewhat surprisingly, he came up behind Kaija, and gave her a poke, and backed off into the crowd again. He continued to press through. "Who did the psychic stuff back there? he didn't pay much attention, but he'd find out tomorrow.
Dunvel didn't even notice he was floating, too busy reading his voice. He only realized he was up in the air when Zamehir's psychic screech caused Dunvel to drop his book. His head felt like it had been boiled and his blood had turned cold. The raw emotion of the child had completely overwhelmed Dunvel, making him sad and confused for the moment. Maybe it was Karma for opening up his mind to quiet the female, but even then to break his mental barrier... Power, true power. The puzzle pieces were coming together. After being let down, Dunvel gathered his barring to remember where he was and why. "Zamehir!" Dunvel called out to the boy as he ran from the table. Dunvel was quick to pursue him, but a wall of guards came to block his path. They ordered everyone to head to their rooms. While it would be easy enough to drop them and follow the boy, he wasn't going anywhere. He turned his back to the ships guard. Passing the family that also had began to leave. (To Etrigen by telepathy @DaKaptin ) Make haste to your room. Watch the boy, it is possible people will be coming for him, you defend him with your life if need be! What you just saw was a fraction of power that will only grow. I had never seen anything like it, not this early in life. Even the witch you lay with must of heard his scream of emotions. Keep a watchful eye and leave the child be...
OOC: by this point everyone should be in their rooms, asleep or otherwise. Time for the fourth act! Zamehir had arrived at the room to find Etrigen talking with Kurin, he just knew. Rather than be questioned by him or Ajax, who wasn't far behind, he crawled into bed and tried to silence the voices screaming in his head. The ship was now in the heart of the Warp Storm. The Captain was sure of the void shields and the strength of their wards. A gift of sorts from Idraman's mysterious friends. He was no fool, but he needed all the help he could get so he didn't ask questions. "Keep feeding power to the port and starbord ray shields! Continue to monitor for more swells like that last one. I could feel the ship buckle from it, make sure that doesn't happen again!" "Yes sir!" The room acknowledged. The captain was too focused on the shields to notice a single entrance portal had been damaged. Both outside and interior airlocks rend open by claws. The entrance portal was closest to Kurin's room. Zamehir's attempts to calm down was failing. Like many who used warp abilities, he was feeling considerable distress. Some had to been removed from their quarters and contained in the medical wings. Security Lieutenant Calypsa was in charge of escorting these infividuals and to coordinate the patrols. Their were more security forces stationed throughout the ship by this point. However, Three Passengers were not in quarters and were moving without hinderance from security. The White Mime, The Black Skull Deathjester, and Encog-Nito the Shadowseer were making for the Anthion quarters. Upon reaching it, they stopped just outside. The Deathjester nodded to the Mine, He parted ways from the other two for his own part to play. Nito began to wave his arms and make hand signs. Non-verbally casting his spell. Inside the room, the rune of the laughing god appeared on Zamehir's forehead. His eyes opened, but they were covered in blackness, his breathing slow. Zamehir exited the room without a sound and followed Nito without a struggle. 'I'm truly sorry little one, but what's done is done.' Nito took Zamehir's hand and continued back to the Black Box, formerly the Training Hall. The Deathjester slowed his pace and stood guard over the Anthions, just in case. Before Zamehir's dream were silence by the Shadowseer's spell, he had see Dunvel, Etrigen, DalRan, and Kurin in danger. Calling them out in warning subconsciously. Those who recieved this message would not understand it's full meaning, but they would know that something was very wrong. OOC: The hallways are full of security, clowns, and at least one very dangerous warp entity! Good luck all! @Xaphen @Wincent @E-50_Panzer @DaKaptin Spoiler this is loose in the ship, a Khymerae , and it's hungry for Psykers. Be on guard for negative emotions, these guys are afoot as well, Astral Specters. . If you get caught by a Security Officer you will be detained. Edited
OOC: Oh no... Dunvel had been meditating in his room for about an hour now. His legs crossed and his hand resting on his knees. Hearing the countless voices in the ship, but one of them had snapped his eyes open and made him leap to the wall. He could not make out exactly what the message said, but the urgency of it sounded important and painful. It was also very close to his location. He peeked out of his door, looking at the hallway. Two of the 'Marine guards' were at the end of the corridor, and one of the Clowns he had seen before, no exactly the same, but close enough. Dunvel knew what was happening or at least had an Idea on what was going on. He assumed he would never need to fit it on until he went planet side, but better early then never! He moved through his pack, pulling out several pieces of Midnight Black armor. The suit was High-end Dueling armor, made for speed with some armor and even a rear guard. The custom armor was made in Commorragh and it showed. The head piece had a blade mounted on top so it could block or perry overhead attack. While the back contained a long spine that helped deflect blows from behind. The knee guards, studs, and markings were all Golden. Truly a Custom Masterpiece that was fitted perfectly for him and his combat style. Dunvel locked the helmet to its position, the Helm's eyes instantly recognized Dunvel and burned Red with hate. Next was his family sword. A decoration sword.... The sword. Its name not know, or never given. Surprisingly balanced and light, especially when it was not made as a true weapon. The blade's cross-guard, grip, and pommel were forged with Brown colored Wraithbone . The guard was slightly curved up, one of the few decorative pieces of the blade. The blade itself was made with folded layers of different metals, creating beautiful pattern of spots and shapes on the blade. It was lengthy and slender, keeping the fuller deep and thin. Each side of the blade's fuller had Ancient words, older then Dunvel himself, but he knew the meaning: "The greatest weapon can never be forged. For words can only be said.". It made absolutely no sense. The Weapon's Powefield was weak. Not meant for combat, but for show. At the moment it was better then an average blade. With it activated the blade let out a eerie black fog and turned the blade Jet Black, not reflecting off any light. All that was left was his Shuriken Catapult. He had it in several pieces, it only took him moments to put it together. It was military issued, supposedly it was thousands of years old and even participated in the 'War in heaven'. A complete lie so his family could buy it, but it was definitely military issue. The rate of fire on the weapon was unmatched, its accuracy had taken a hit, but its compact form allowed it to be easier to move around. Dunvel took the ranged weapon and slung it to his back, while he kept his Long sword to its scabbard. Once his Armor had recognized the user, Dunvel set off. One could assume the guards heard a loud buzzing noise, before a volley of Magenta Shurikens had been sent their way. OOC: What the armor and sword prob look like:
- Etrigen 'Goodnight.' Etrigen finished with Kurin. As if by coincidence, Zamehir entered the room at the same moment Etrigen recieved Dunvel's warning. 'You have very poor manners, Soulbane. Yes, I know who you are and what you have done. Zamehir is under the protection of house Anthion. Ajax would never forgive me if something happened to his new friend. Keep your concerns and your thoughts to yourself...' When he finished his mental boult with an old acquaintance. Etrigen found Zamehir in bef, a look of complete exhaustion. Etrigen got up from his bed and rested his palm on the troubled youth's black haired head. Concentrating, he gives Zamehir a peaceful memory to dream on. Improvement, but still. Ajax arrived next. Etrigen hurried him off to bed. Kaija arrived last, escorted by two Security officers. She had a marker bracelet on for attempting to break curfew. She would not be able to leave her room unnoticed. The alternative was to place her in the brig unti morning. They weren't prepared to deal with a moody minor all evening. Etrigen recieved Zamehir's warning. He had been aware of the two who had taken Zamehir, but he didn't want to drag Kaija and Ajax into this. Arming; Right arm gauntlet, light chest armor, wraithbone shield, starmetal tip spear, and a short blade. Finishing with his dark green travelling cloak. Kissing the foreheads of both Kaija and Ajax before leaving, he sets off to keep his word. @PorOborosCain OOC: like this but with a spear and reddish brown dreads:
Kurin sits on the floor, legs crossed and mind on alert. She feels the warpstorm and it gives her a really strong headache, but she can still sense the shop around her in enough detail to know what is happening, but she don't move. She was prepared for this storm and had entred a state which protected her mind from the chaotic energies flowing around them,. She feels safe, calm and as a bi-effect a big thirsty
