(OOC: play hook-up? No, I just say that romance is a part of RP just as much as anything. I myself also want to discover exodites, the times and all that. But I am also very curiouis about more of the social life for just eldar, that is never brought up to light, as far as I know. I won't stop you from quitting but now is it as simple as that my char has the wish to have a mate and it is as simple as that.)
OOC: No it's not. You force romance, every. single. time. Yes social life is interesting, yes social life is a must in RPs. But flirting / romance is not a necessary component. And it is not as simple as YOUR CHAR wanting to have a mate, ALL your chars want to have a mate. All. The. Time.
OOC: Alright I think that's enough. I don't mind if you want to live out your Eldar love fantasy as long as it doesn't effect my char and it hasn't. Honestly I have exactly no prob with it. I usually just skip the page you and tom have, that's why I prob missed you sending Dunvel a note. If you want to look for a mate for the world, that is probably a real concern for many of the Eldar women, so it doesn't bother me as being unreasonable or unrealistic. I rather not have Jorimel leave, but if he/she is going to because of Wincents Rp. Well guess we are down a player. I don't like to look at other posts that don't concern my char on most RPs so I don't know if her flirts have messed with Jorimrl's char. Not picking sides, because there are non. So please Jorimel I would like you yo stay, but I don't think Wince should not change her characters personality especially this far in. I think we should end that here.
[OOC I am leaving because my style is incompatible with Wincent's take on roleplaying an Eldar. That's simple, and it doesn't require anyone to take sides, or stop playing how and who they want, except me, and I'm doing so because I prefer to avoid arguments, etc. I've repeatedly said I'm not against romance and IC flirting and I'm not. Nor do I disagree that many people want love, families, etc. It's a style thing. That's the end of it. Our styles don't mesh. We want different things so rather than say "you must do only my things" I am leaving y'all to it. I hope this is clear ]
Dunvel's eye brow raised. What? Why director. It mattered little, these Eldar were powerful psyker, but an illusion only works if the user and the used believe in it. A few moments of keeping his eyes shut and concentrating on what was real. "No.." Dunvel whispered. He turned his back to the whatever and snapped his fingers. "You had better ordered something good!" he called out to the lone child. Bringing attention to himself and the other. This Eldar was not wise to assume Dunvel was a feeble child with no power of his own. Lets see how artful the infiltrator was now...
- Ajax Greeting Reika in his usual sweet way, Ajax sat in mix captivation. On the one hand that stuff about the innate understanding of the heavens and it's physical manifestations implied anything could happy using such power. On the other, a disipline mind was required for true acts of miracles. After Kurin's demonstration, Ajax tried to copy her movements. His hand out, eyes closed, and thinking really hard... Nothing happened. Ajax was very disappointed. By reflex he clutches his Tear of Isha, a habit when uncomfortable. - Etrigen Seeing through the spider's strategy. Etrigen switched to carrying his sword underhanded, pointed down. Instead of waiting to be cornered, Etrigen made for the leader. The larg Strain wasn't dismayed by this like the others were. Stopping to meet the prey, it shifted to raising its four front sharp limbs while resting its weight on the rear four. Etrigen doged to the beast's left. His right fist forward, the blade cutting deep into the mother's side. It writhed from the inflicted wounded. The other creatures continuing the attack, but now scared with their leader bloodied. Etrigen made short work of the two warriors, the smallest ones fell even faster. The large beast caught trying to flee to the shield. Etrigen ended the arachnids life, as he would any beast fought in the arena. 'The journey ends for us. Had you stayed hidden I might never have seen you. You and your children would be on a new world. A new home... your loss.' Etrigen returned to the entrance portal and removed his void suit and bubble. The scar on his back was not deep, but looked pretty bad. "I should see a healer." He leaves the sword with the other cleaning gear. - Kaija Kaija appeared in the doorway to the brig soon after DalRan's arrival. "Ready to train?"
Kurin smiles at Ajax. She nods to Reika aaand says softly " Ajax, it is a complicated thing to manifest this power. Reika here is quite talented in doing this, as far as I can see. But to make it easier can we it like this. " She. Nods to Reika again "Reika, take Ajax hand. Try to focus that little spark in your palm and send it over to him. The spark you can create wouldn't even kill a bacteria but if he can feel it and know the exact feeling, he should be able to do it" Reika looks at Kurin, paling a bit before blushing. The shy girl slowly reaches out, her fingers shaking a bit as she would try to take Ajax hand. Reika is looking the other way, clearly not liking it. If she succeds with taking Ajax hand she would send a spark into him, trying to "fan the flames" allowing him to create a spark of his own. Kurin watches calmly. (OOC: before anyone says anything... NO, Reika don't find Ajax special or anything. She is not shy because she is in love it anything. She is just a shy gIRL, afraid to do someone angry)
DalRan heard Kaija's voice and slowly, dreadfully, turned around to see Kaija there. "You know what.....screw it," he thought, "Yes, I'm prepared, lead the way," he told her, sounding rather confident in this. Talmar looked at this, but was too scared to say anything with Kaija right there in front of him...
"The child, the audience, none can see me if I desire. Your presence is a nuisance. If you will not leave well enough alone, you will be forced!" The voice rang out at first, the buzz of holo-field was present. Then the voice was right next to Dunvel, a blade made to look short was detected, the rings decorating the trouper's arms giving off an optical illusion. This was no seer, but a skilled stagehand and warrior. Dunvel avoided this, but not unscathed. A short cut was made upon his neck. A warning not to be underestimated. The wiry form the the female Harlequin appeared in a wall of dissolving dimonds and hearts behind Dunvel. While he saw the front clear as day, from behind the holo-feild was displaying an empty corridor. "Were I the narrator I'd tell you more, but you are so ignorant already. It would probably only confuse you. I am a Rillatann, a Harlequin, of the Laughing God's troupe. You've already met another of my troupe. Or does that connection escape you as well? Uncultured bloodier, good for only death."
