OOC: Oh sorry, forgot about that! Still finishing up on the intro. We'll make it a prelude. "Have no fear, Anthion. I won't keep you for much longer. Just wanted to confer with you about the saurid attacks. You seem to have made a reputation for yourself. Etrigen the warrior planter. Exaggerated tales of you facing Saurid, gamma to alpha, with only your barehands. While I didn't think much of it till now, I have since seen evidence to support such claims. Now, why such an outspoken pacifist would bloody his hands against the saurid after speaking of coexistence in the forum confounds me. I am lead to believe that you have far less than honorable reasons for this. You don't want the Saurid killed, which in turn allows you to keep fighting them. Placing our people in danger, just so you can have your sick thrills. You may have the Chairman and the rest of the council fooled, but you don't fool me. Whether you meant for it or not, your actions only weakened our ability to protect our people and some with server injuries. Many of which have no combat training or experience. That is why I am here, it is why you are locked in a cage, and why you are not worthy of their respect! Go back to your hiding place, and for the sake of others, have the decency to stay there. You're no planter or real warrior." Of course Captain said this in the presence of his two other Guardians. While Etrigen's hands were now unbound, he was still unarmed. Those standing at his side had their hands upon their weapons, but Captain Argus had his hands folded over his chest.
- Etrigen 'Wow, someone has a high opinion of himself. Let's see, both guards don't have weapons drawn and their wrists are exposed.' Etrigen though before imagining himself quickly going for one of their wrists and twising said arm. Then throwning the subdued guard into the other. 'That would give Argent time to draw is weapon... No, he wants an excuse to fight me.' "If that's all you wanted to say, then I'll be going now." With that, Etrigen walked out from between the guards and past argent. 'I don't care what you think of me. Just because I fight to protect my fellow eldar doesn't mean I require a tool to do it. I don't kill that Alpha. More lives would have been endangered if not for My daughter, hunter DalRan, Kurin and me. I didn't see silver knights coming to the recuse. Thanks again for all your hard work, Security guard. If you don't want to make up an excuse to fight me, come to one of my combat classes. They're every other cycle, so not tonight. I have a family to go home to.' And without another word, Etrigen returned home to find not only Ajax waiting for him, but Zamehir and... "Kaija?" He says, surprised but happy to see her home again. "Welcome home my brave little warrior." OOC: happy family reunion ending! Now we can move on without delay! Thanks PorO, next time I'm kicking that Argent creep's arse.
The Next day. The day began as it had before. Everyone awoke as they would, dressed, and enjoyed first light meal. Etigen was collected by the Telwithan, Captain Argent was with them. Etrigen would stand apart from the crowed at the meeting. Ranger Calypsa wasn't in a particularly good mood. She had news about the saurid and the 'Dragon Forest.' Activity along the far side of the river was very troubling. Forge Master Kythriel was helping the Doctor transport anything he needed to bring to the meeting. Alpha saurid parts or equipment to present, and to make sure he was on time today. Chairman Archwin'd was the first to arrive at the forum chamber, speaking with his old friend before others arrived. "I hope you're right this time Idraman. Remember the last time you trusted those masks? Many suffered because one was worse than the others. You'd be proud of Zamehir. He's grown into a great World Singer, maybe a little too good. He's still quiet, but now in a more distracted sort of way. Please help us in this time, and forgive me for what I will force upon the few to help the many. I have faith in them, but I am under no illusion that it makes it no less life threatening. May they have the blessings of the gods." The last word echoed through the sprouting white tree. Every word heard by a familiar old faced Eldar. 'I think that can be managed.' With that Idraman set about making his old friend's wish come true. At the same time, a performance of some kind was taking place in the courtyard in front of the Village Hall. Shadowseer Encog-Nito was no where to be found. Instead they were three other masked individuals, silently dancing to story to life. Two were dressed in all back and one wore all white. Their masks were hideous, two with bug eyes and the one with large fangs. The one in white was larger and moved about the other two with great speed. The other two were armed with daggers, must be props. When the dangers sunk into the fanged white clown, he did not bleed, but he did slow. Each cut making him slower and slower, until he stopped moving all together. Then they would repeat the scene, usually in a different way. Sometimes the fanged one won, but every time the insect masked ones would get back up and continue the scene until the white Harlequin stopped moving. What ever it meant, they weren't bothering to speak at all. OOC: Time to start your mornings accordingly! Worry for the wait, think I got it all thought out now. @DaKaptin @Uriel1339 @Wincent
Enjoying his luxury as council member, Dr. Kour Arcadia paid little attention to what the crowds were up to, they were like herds that only followed one route, crowds always tend to do that, somebody starts pointing at something or shouting, others gather around and then there they would be, just spectating. Crowds were pathetic to a degree, it is the individuals that have the courage to act alone one should be worried about. Finally he arrived with his 'escort' in the council, having eaten at home, since it was saving time versus waiting for the crowd-cooks to get something for him ready. So he was ready go on with the expedition, surprisingly though he left everything at home. Equipment as well as the autopsy materials all remained at home. Without a word he took his seat and simply waited.
Kythriel walked with the doctor to the council meeting. She was surprised that the doctor had nothing to present. His findings on the death Saurid must not have required visuals. Making her a little curious what Dr. Arcadia did with the body was anyones guess. "I trust you slept well Doctor. After repairs were completed at Field 2, the Forge was commissioned to build a cart and other equipment used for long isolated travel. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that? As for today's hearing, I hope what you discovered proved Etrigen innocent of the poor dragon's death." As they passed the gathered cowed, one of the performers in black seemed to look at Kour as they passed. Inside, the councilor's would find Chairman Archwin'd and Ranger Calypsa waiting for them. "Welcome both of you. I'm glade you arrived so early. I was just informing Calypsa of the situation with councilor Praetor." "I can't believe he was a reproduction. Was their ever a real Praetor among us?" "It's hard to say. If he does show today, that will be the first thing I question him on. After having him taken in for his behavior. It will be hard to explain to the rest of the village, but I have hope that he can be replaced with a new representative quickly."
<Dr. Kour Arcadia> He just relaxed as they walked. "Let's just wait till the official meeting starts, yes?" And that is all the man said, ignoring the performers, the man merely marched on.
