Check the links in the opening post. That gallery is updated regularly.

Seems that I have grown too bitter about EC and it shows too much in my comments on this forum, so I have finally got myself a suspended mode for posting on the forums. My messages now have to be approved by moderator. At least I've got this notification on one message.
I'll keep that in mind and am going to restrict myself to this thread alone. And of course I'll not touch the 'Eldar in EC' theme, it's too sensitive for me.

Thank you all for your support.
I'm not sure, maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions. As I've said, there was only one such notice about 'waiting for moderator's approval'. And today I see that post of mine is in the thread. So maybe it's alright.
But I do feel I'm probably too bitter and I've lost a lot of faith seeing how our concerns and constructive topics keep being unnoticed. And I guess it doesn't look right to spread this mood all over. But I certainly wish the best for our beloved race in this game. And for EC to be a great game we have been waiting for, though there is so much to change and to create for that to come true. I hope to see the communication the devs like to talk about.

The picture is not mine, I've added a link to the author.

Honestly? I'm treating all Eldar stuff as placeholders. No point in getting pissed about the issue, since it seems to be in no way final, and it probably won't be for some time.

Still, I think that suppressing criticism is not the way to go.

Zavalus, I wonder who would finance such an extensive production of quality placeholders. It's expensive enough to have the work done once. When you have hundreds of assets to be created for the game in the course of the year or two, you can't have time for re-making stuff in the schedule. Even the largest companies can't afford making try-out versions before the final one.
So don't believe in the 'placeholders' theory. Placeholder is something crude and very general, you know immediately that this is not a final object.

I don't know how it's done, to be honest. But 2D side-views based on stuff that already exist... those just doesn't seem like some expensive art contracts. Whatever the price, however; taking criticism into consideration always seems like a good idea. Especially, when we're talking about such subjective fields like art design. No matter the cost. In the end, those items are suppose to make money in the future. More money than they've cost to create. And in the end, it's not the art division that will buy those items, but ordinary customers like you and me. So, since it'll be our money on the table, I think it's only logical that it should be our voice that is to be heard in the first place.

Miguel had time and time again voiced his respect for the customer. Hopefully, it'll be like he says.
