FLUFF TIME! This model (when playing a fluff game) is an HQ choice. Exemplar of Areshkia There is only ever one Exemplar of the Areshkia clan at any given timee. The exemplar is at the head of any battle Lethanuul might experience as they are the true virtue of what it means to be an Areshkian. An exemplar is chosen by the collective votes of the aspect shrines, a vote which must be unanimous. When an exemplar is selected he or she is encased in the Armor of the Exemplar as the whole clan attends the funeral service of the exemplar. The exemplar is showered with gifts from his home clan to wear into battle as once the armor is donned the exemplar is banished from his old home as his new home is the battlefield. The exemplar lives for nothing but battle from then on, he or she will battle the wilds of the fringe worlds or battle any enemy that attempts to invade. The previous exemplar was of the Swooping Hawks shrine, Ishnaluth. She charged head long into the battle lines of a Tau army by herself as she was alone and the first to discover them. Her grace in flight made her near impossible to hit her speed on land made marker lights unable to track her. She destroyed 4 devilfish and 1 hammer head and as many as 30 fire warriors before she was crushed by a Riptide, not before crippling it however. The current Exemplar is of the Dire Avengers, Yneath, brother to the late Ishnaluth and none in his clan have a more burning hatred towards Tau. Armor of the Exemplar - 5+ invulnerable, 6+ feel no pain. all friendly units within 6" are fearless Forces all wounds on the unit to be allocated to Exemplar Yneath and he should always be positioned towards the closest enemy unit. at the beginning of the game roll a D6 Unyielding (1-2) on a 1 he gains +1 to his attacks for every 3 allies and enemies within 6" of him Unfeeling(3-5) on a 2 he gains +1 Feel no pain (to a max of 3+) for every 3 allies and enemies within 3" of him Unending(6) on a 3 He gains +1 to his Invulnerable save (to a max of 2+)for every model within 3" Roll a D3 at the beginning of your movement phase to determine what trait he will have for the current turn.
