Maybe if you actually tried the faction, you'd be able to understand how it works, what are its weaknesses and how to play against them instead of cosntantly whining about the things that are no longer a problem for semi competent player for 12 months straight.
  2. An easy fix for Haywire grenades is to make the slow about the same as a grav gun rather than a full stop and give them a bit of damage back. Hawks are known in lore for having a grenade pack and that is represented in game by the 10 grenades. I don't know about you but when I offer to go on tank driving duty when I'm not playing Eldar I ask for a gunner and tell them... Screw the ground targets make sure you look up. Just the other day on a Maggon I kept our LSM rhino alive the whole game by simply driving it around the whole match and there was a pack of 3 Fire Dragons running around after the tank most of the game.

Yeah, that's kinda how 90% of the players think and the reason a problem exists in the first place.
Noone bothers with facts if there is a much easier, obvious answer right in front of their eyes.

  5. When you get carried by all the vet players on an Eldar team its fairly easy to say they are OP. Honestly till you are rank 6, have unlocked everything, and know the inner workings of the faction like the back of your hand you really have no place to complain about them when you don't play them. Teamwork is 100% required for Eldar to win and if they try and rambo around like the other races they will lose. So many people have there heads firmly up their butts about Eldar in there view points that they think they can't lose at all. My challenge to you is if you think that's true go to an Eldar game where the Eldar are playing like Space Marines not listening to each other and not working together and see how OP they are then. Trust me just like Marines you will see a number of people quit before the match ever ends.

This is once again out of the "stories" corner i assume?
In general EC maps have multiple entry points to the mainroom. So a driving transport spitting out attackers at different locations to allow a multisided assault is pretty much an advantage compared to everyone beelining through one door. So i would argue that in most cases a driving rhino is actually a major advantage for the attacker outside of the necessity to keep it alive.

If your squad is not braindead, its actually easier, because you're able to drop multiple people at once in certain place for a sturm instead of lemmings forming a conga line into defending firing squad.

What is your source for tactics in EC?

You'd be surprised what magic can voice chat do is actually used.

Only one faction have players who are beyond redemption and will ignore you 100% of the time, but if you're driving transport and project what team is supposed to do and when to get out, they often listen.

I just came back to EC after about a year (gaming rig pooped out), and I gotta say, I like the balance right now. I usually only fight either LSM or CSM, but once in a while I get to battle against the Eldar. The variety of classes is much more....tangible than it used to be. I don't see one class being spammed and I don't see them relying on "roadkill warriors" anymore.

Fighting Eldar is frustrating when I get flanked. It doesn't matter what I am playing or who I am playing with, if I get some space elves coming at me from two opposite sides, we lose. They are so fast and hard to hit that there is almost no way I can defend/counterattack them.

That being said, when we go head-on, Eldar drop FAST.
