I have enjoyed playing one race and one race only, the Eldar. Many people believe we need to be nerfed, or are OP. I am sure over the course of this game's life the "best race" will change over time, but from where I stand I will continue to show pride for my chosen group.

So what of it? Who else is a proud Eldar supporter? Let us here why you like to play Eldar, what attracted you to them in the first place, or just your over all good feelings for the group.

Eldar for me look cool, have cool and sad lore and are the most elite warriors in 40k plus Space Elves, in game I doubt anything will be as peaceful or fun as playing a swooping hawk, plus Warlock Sith lightning is always fun.

Also they are more visually distinct than any race which saves me money on cosmetics which is good because £5 for a single shoulder pad is a rip off

I played Dawn of War: Winter Assault and the Imperial Guard/Space Marines came off as stupid. Whereas the Eldar were on the ball and trying to stop the Necrons from awakening.

Ever since then, Eldar have done off as one of the truly 'good' races. They despise Chaos, and will also fight the Necrons off no matter what.

Then I found Dark Eldar (read the 'Path of the Dark Eldar' series) and by god, I love their cold apathy. Comorragh sounds like a fun place. With death being treated as a mere setback, and everyone backstabbing people WHILE being backstabbed themselves. And I love the new look they got in 7E. Plus gotta love Asdrubael Vect on his Pimpmobile.

And for Dark Eldar the Incubi, God damn them for getting Incubi, they would beast as a craftworld aspect force, visually and mechanically a mix of Dark Reaper and Scorpion.

And of course the beautiful Venoms, god I convert them into Vypers since they look like ass lol

Well let's see... The most advanced life form on the entire galaxy, superior tech (second only to Necrons) psychic powers, super speed, mandiblasters, web way tech, Commoragh, Warp Spiders, Maugan Ra (who solo'ed an entire Hive Fleet), Kaela Mensha Khaine, wraithbone and the list go on and on... I love everything about the Eldar and everyone that loves them too

Originally it was because they were meant to have some of the most powerful Psykers in the galaxy, then it was because they fight tirelessly against Chaos and generally for the good of their race, then there were Corsairs in the form of Yriel, and the Phoenix Lords and man.. What's not to love?

I'll always come back to Eldar because everything about them is awesome to me.

Other than the fact that poster-boy-marines get all the visual-customisation love, I'm actually quite proud to have swapped to Eldar. They were my very first chosen army when I started 40k as a kid. At least with Eldar, my partner can team up with me without having to have a male avatar.

They've been my favorite faction since I saw them all those years ago in the super thick black 40k rulebook.

Plan to stick with them through overpoweredness (which is not actually as fun as people think.) and underpoweredness (which happened in the past, and will surely happen again - wax and wane).

I'm also very happy to have female representation, which is sadly precious in 40k.

Also Harlequins. Oh my.
