I'm a sucker for anything inquisition related like Ravenor, Eisenhorn, the Dark Heresy roleplaying game, and I will probably lap up the Steam release for this. However, the idea of there being a "stealth mode" and a "stun gun" for an Eisenhorn game sounds really dumb. This is 40K, and in most situations Eisenhorn is fighting heretics, xenos, or demons. I don't think trying to preserve life or taking people into questioning is a priority (most of the time [Glaw]). I also don't really trust this developer to do very well in probably my favorite 40K series. I really wish someone like CD Projekt RED or Bioware could do something with the series. In CD Projekt RED's case, their Witcher series seems like a good mold for what I would want out of a game based on the inquisition of Warhammer 40,000. It wouldn't even have to be based on Ravenor, Eisenhorn, or any pre-established inquisitors, anything they do would be great, especially if they take the experience they're learning with Cyberpunk 2077 and apply it to Warhammer 40k. Bioware would be my second choice mostly because a Mass Effect Spectre is basically an inquisitor with much less power and the gameplay in that series would also be a good fit for a 40k inquisitor game. I just like CD Projekt RED more. Well, come release day, I'll see how disappointed/pleasantly surprised I'll be.
hopefully with higher graphics then on tablet^^ btw.... how long do we have to wait for dat spacewolf steam version :O
it's write in all the news about the game. http://pixelherogames.com/gdc-2015-and-first-eisenhorn-screenshots/
Our main man, Mr Gregor Eisenhorn. "Eisenhorn: XENOS" - Coming soon! #xenos #danabnett #gamesworkshop #eisenhorn
I think you are wrong here There are several times in the Eisenhorn books where he chooses stealth over direct force, From Eisenhorn where he first meets Commodus Voke into the investigation of Glaw. Voke says to Eisenhorn "You see fit to play-act and hide your true nature?" " I am discomforted when I see inquisitors holding to the soft , cunning ways of the radical. That way lies heresy" Then Eisenhorn and Betancore go on a stealth mission in Glaws manor where Eisenhorn gets caught. So I think there is a precedent of stealth
