Hehehe ... You need to look into "how to make money with an MMO" guide book, that "new stuff By addons" is too much year 2000.

You need to be slinging out cosmetics nearly every week, new weapon variants every month, completely new gear/units/vehicles every 3months minimum. You need to keep up the intrest and the "Got to have em all" effect on the players.

If you have nothing new and cool, you lose money and you lose players. As long as you do it with care its good for the players and the Company.

Then will we have normal Ranger? Or Outcast Ranger is just the Dire Avenger Exarch with customized loadout? Because he costs RP to spawn, he can't just be the normal Dire Avenger.

The best way is to put the most iconic units of each faction in game, while keeping the less iconic ones in the store, but these units stat must be able to be replicated in game. For example:
    - Iconic units: Possessed, Termies, Ranger, Warp Spider, Warp Talon, Mega Nobz, Nobz, Weirdboyz, Mekboyz,etc... These units must be available for everyone who has paid 40$ for the game. Not being able to play as these icons of W40K even though you paid for the game is just unacceptable.
    - Less iconic AKA special named units: Veteran Scout Sergeant, Outcast Ranger, Fallen, Skarboyz, Sternguard, Veteran Vanguard, etc... These units will have the unique stats and loadout of their own, but these stats can simply be replicated by changing loadouts of the classes currently in game. For example, you can have a Sternguard stats simply by adjusting loadouts on your Veteran TSM.

This way, people who put 40$ down to buy the game won't feel tricked, because they can still play with the most famous toys in W40K. For the minority who likes specific things like a Veteran Vanguard or a Autarch Host Leader, they can pay a little money to play as these guys, somewhat similar to prototypes in Warthunder and WoT.

Yep, Rangers and Possessed as fleshed out classes beyond the RTS are planned:
Note the Possessed name hasn't been updated yet.

Hmm, "the Outcast Ranger is a specific config of the vanilla Dire Avenger" was an incorrect way of putting it. What has been said is that the Elite RTS characters don't have anything exclusive beyond the normal classes that will make them a dominant factor with a unique role in game.
So me saying they won't have unique options is baseless. It's purely my theory that the OR is a vet-class equivalent DA geared for range based on some clues but not anything BHVR have in anyway confirmed or pointed to. I'll own that correction.

I think part of the confusion stemmed from (1. Brent highlighting the Dire Avenger as being capable of adequately filling the roll of the Outcast Ranger and (2. BHVR having reversed course on side-grades. As it stands though we don't have a definitive word on whether they're still shooting for that impossible side-grade balance with RTS vehicles and Heroes. I really hope that's not the case.

Yeah, they said that most stats in store would be able to achieved in 1 way or another, like finding/unlocking another gun with the same stats or modifying your gun so it can has the same stats. So in Outcast Ranger case I think either we will have another Outcast Ranger in game or we can achieve the same thing with Dire Avenger.

I think the general point is that the game is cool and new, so new it's not been released yet. Add to that there is no point is stating we want something in the store until we know what is in the game. There needs to be an achievable equivalent of every item that is in the store placed in the game or it's being done wrong and people need to remember that the game is the most important part and the store a secondary consideration, even though it's the main resource ffor funding the game.
  7. everything in the store is archiveable
    you can "farm" RTP ingame

I was hoping it to a bit more immersive as that in that I can earn everything in the game I need without going to an outside source for it (like RT) if I so choose.
