This post is great. I agree, I'm really enjoying EC and I'm REALLY looking forward to the game expanding over the next year. And you're right, the developers don't really get the love they ought to for putting this together. And for putting up with all the shit-talk the more negative players like to spout out for fun. You have my support devs! You have since I became a Founder, and you will until the game dies out (may that day never come). Thank you for all your hard work!
Yes the developers are awesome. Love their transperency. Know that many of the problems are not there fault. So yes : I turned from a "white knight" to a sceptical. But I still want to see the game to become a success. Even if there is only very little hope left. So plz. developers try your best to rescue that great idea of a game. Even the sceptics have not lost all hope as long you can see them on the forums
Honestly i really dislike EC in terms of gameplay and overall feel right now. I've not been beyond posting the odd salty thing in the past about it either Many know that i stick around to chat with others on the forums and monitor the progress til im happy with it, but in saying that it's awesome that other people at least enjoy it! For real, it's good that people enjoy EC still to a certain degree or another.
Loving EC right now requires paitience and mutually aligned friends. It's tough for all of us right now. Try to keep a mindset of playtesting through an Alpha/Beta -stage. Player numbers have been dwindling for sure, but we all love 40k. Guys will be back to check EC out when some of the cool content gets added. All we can hope is that bE's financial plan survives to that point.
