Actually I was thinking more along the lines of this type of thread is just as pointless as the "gaem suk, kill urself" threads. Just on the other end of the spectrum of opinion.

from a sociological/philosophical/communicational perspective it's easier to hate than to love - 'cause everything one loves has flaws and those who hate the things you love will always point the finger at those flaws

I like EC a lot too... with all it flaws and I hope the devs will keep up the work and some day this game will stand up to our expectations

I would not agree on the statement that the game is awesome. It has this "ghost of awesomeness still to happen". If it survives long enough. The development goes in the right direction, but the game has to keep going. I hope working under this pressure makes the devs do wonders.
To stay with the food-parallel, it is like a huge steak that is still in the pan.
It is nice already (well, we can play the game, but eating the steak would probably be a bad idea, it looks good anyway) but it will become what we want in due time. Yummy.

I'd play the damn game if it wasn't a 10 min que straight into a 5 vs 20 match. But when you have a online pop of sub 200 during my play time (us central) I guess I understand.

i like this game i loved it in alpha testing and reporting all those pesky bugs that are still in beta .. oh wait fully launched retail beta ... some thing happen waaaay to slowly in this game and other things just dont happen i hope it can recover its playerbase to more than an average of 400 online at peak to make it actually better to play, and tbh it has a TEN year road map to add stuff ... it will not last 10 years in its current state or even 100% better .. why? because with all games like this there is only so much u can do before it is pointless / boring to continue with AND there will be other better games coming out i am sticking around with a glimmer of hope but the things that have been said and done do not make me confident, oh and about the twitch shows ... christ some are utterly dumb as fuck where the devs / whoever is sitting behind the desk reply to a select number of questions yet ignore the more important questions - even when they are on the forums / steam etc .. all i see is a lot of misdirection and not much substance... again hurts my confidence in them

"Awesome" is far on the list of words I could use to describe EC.
I understand when someone is saying "I like EC" or "I have fun playing EC".
What makes me feel so wierd is when 60% of last month steam reviews are negative somebody saying it is awesome.
Well, but it is nothing wrong to have opinion.

Im just glad for the top 10 ... i think that really made a difference in where the game is headed for the better.

theres actually a bug the fixed i miss ; ; the whacky ragdoll physics that used to be on chaos corpses where they would tumble all over and float through the air .... i almost laughed a couple of guildies to death the first time we saw it and i yelled "Behold BROTHERS the PRICE of worshiping CHAOS !!!" i'm always going to miss that bug ... maybe they can intentionally bring it back next year for Halloween.
