Man... It have nothing to do with if we like eachother or not. Whatever the joke is about shooting or burning in hell it is a joke for me as long as I can get it was joke. And really imo mods should have set a clear line and when someone is crossing it he get banned no matter if it was in post or on thread. I understand that your intentions was not to couse any harm to Devilfish. But with this sittuation you by mistake you moved that line. Then Blade tried to use it and go as far as you did. Perhaps he was trying to couse flame by this (more likely) but he wasn`t crossed line in my opinion. It is like when I invite someone for visit. If we are moving through main door and I am walking in without taking my shoes off I cannot really blame that person for doing the same. I showed him (even not knowing it)that I am accepting it. And if those arguments are not enough you had oprtunity to comment your post. If you watched steam you saw that I defended you after realised it was a joke. Blade got pernament ban... without any possibility to take his words back. If Asheru was so nice to come and said "Blade you crossed the line, I am closing thread and if you will ever post it again you will get ban" that I could agree with this. Sorry for making this post to long but I was trying to explain to moderators that their methods are far from being professional so I will just make it longer a bit more. There is no "cross line" here for everyone. I think that you are fully aware that we have one of defenders here who was comparing people to Hitler and Ted Bundy and haven`t even met with temporary ban. You surelly don`t have time for grinding through walls of text but I could easily send you a dozens of links for offensive language that is not meating without any reaction. I am really trying to be constructive and as objective here as I can. I care about this game (no matter if some are calling me hater) and I am trying to help as much as I can. Some of your mods are limiting discussion here. I had that feeling for months even before release when I was very positive about game and was called fanboy. I think that about Blade ban we will not change our minds. So we don`t have to talk about it anymore unless you want to. But please I am not the only one that feels we don`t have free discussion for everyone here. If you could find some time for it, talk with your mods to set some "lines" and tread everyone equally for crossing them.
yesterday i reported 3 posts with obvioius insults and admitting to baiting for flamewar. some days before that another 3 or even 4. NOTHING got done. dont even try to pretend you are objective.
also in general: i read Oveur's remark and that hunt the devs stuff, and like it or not, blade did cross a line. what was insinuated there comes in no way even close to Oveur's remark. let's keep it real. also a big LOL@ asheru's contact local authorities. not everyone has the panicky american mindset, good luck complaining with the polish authorities, that is if you can even find anyone sober to answer your complaint.
the burn in hell remark was to me at least obvious a play on that user's name. it was one of naitun's lame jokes. you could argue about the levels of funny or if its smart, but to use that and make a point about how he is 'insulting'someone doesnt hold. again, keep in mind, oim not about taking sides, im more concerned with thye truth as i perceive it and the actual content. the 'hunt the devs' is simply fucked up. even if it wasnt meant seriously. there's a level or line of taste you just dont cross. we can all have opinions but we shouldnt use idiotic comparisons with shootingsprees, cancer or the holocaust. I hope we are all old enough here to just fucking understand that, i shouldnt be explaining this.
Because clearly I am the only Moderator on the forums and rush every time there is a report to shut it down? Do you know how silly that sounds? Zhull we might not see eye to eye but even I know you are not that stupid. Even if the posts don't get removed can you say for certain the people who got them didn't get a warning or were told to chill? Until you know the facts on how everything works you posting like this just makes you look foolish.
