Just checked game after patching. NO! EC IS NOT AWESOME!!! It is not even good... It is not even average... It is still barebone... it is still broken promise. It is still delay after delay. It still don`t have campaigns. It still have same developers who are not good enough to make it great title that was announced years ago.
YES SILENCE ALL VOICES OF DISSENT !!! ....... /s doesn't matter game is still very, very bad and banning a few vocal types will not change that
Campaigns are starting up next week, it's in the patch notes (yes there are patch notes). And yeah, everyone who put down the ultimatum of "next patch/December patch game good or I leave" you should probably just leave now. The game you imagined is between 6 months to 3 years from now (depending on how big your dreams were).
You know what? You are right. I am quiting playing this. But I will be there to see those "campaigns" next week (if they will not be delayed again). And I will be here to share my opinions on this forum. Ohh and I will not stop posting how much I am disappoined with this progress. 6 months from now? At the current pace it will be 3 or 4 content patches at best. And knowing how much they are changing I can tell you in 6 months this game will be empty.
I'm just going to put you in the 3 years category. 6 months is like, "hey, we got terminators, and there's a game mode that isn't about capping points." Well at least you're here in spirit. Like a dark, haunting, angry ghost. Prowling the corridors, jumping out at stragglers, throwing vases across the room and making walls bleed. Newcomers (oh we laugh) will say things like, "Did you just hear a blood curdling post about how terrible the new patch is?" and us veterans will respond "that's just the ghost of Nimrock, he was one of us, but then he passed away." And then we'll take them to the monument of lost players, a great edifice of marble inscribed with the thousands of player names we no longer see.
Newcommers? Are you talking about those people from steam reviews? 38% of positives from last 30 days. Are you sure they will be able to keep team working and servers active? You shold be worried about those "thousands of player names we no longer see". If this game worked as the game released should all of them would be here playing with you. You know what? Actually I planned to keep playing it for this week. But you can be happy that you convinced another player from this huge playerbase EC have now to quit. Keep fighting angry ghosts. You are digging this game grave.
Is there like a forum achievement for that? But seriously, nothing I said was an attack on you or anyone else. Parts of it were meant to be informative, and others funny. I'm genuinely sorry you didn't catch that (if a little amused). Edit: Apparently he did not, good to know I write for the common man!
I am sorry that you didn`t catch that but I didn`t feel attacked. My arguments stay the same. My patience for EC is over.
I am wondering why are there ppl who like to complain on forums instead of play other games and have rest of EC
