Crusader, go see this https://www.eternalcrusade.com/faq and Scroll down to the Early game Module access section.... ALL is there!!
I think the best thing you could do would be to release early, but make the process of reporting bugs very clear, very easy, and perhaps with some tangible benefit so that people will be more up for doing it, like some small amount of RT points, or a reduction on some cooldown times/respawn times or the like.
i bought the founders thing...when will i be able to use it? I might hav ejust missed something or bypassed a clue of whats truely going on. so buying the founders package allow me to access the early states now?
My opinion on this is reflective of my opinion on the early access program as a whole; I think it is an innovative way to develop a game, especially utilizing the community in the earliest stages of development. People are becoming more-and-more familiar with the difference between development phases, and with that the possibilities for using said people are endless. Bring on the early builds, give us the same toolset your QA engineers have, watch what happens. Testing for free since '93, Crouton Technical Writer Volunteer QA Engineer @FSCrouton
So, for the sake of my nerves, have the testers already been chosen amongst those who bought the Founder's Pack first, or are they to be chosen later from the first of those to specifically sign up for pre-release testing?
Amazingly, these details are also in the FAQ, read carefully friend: https://www.eternalcrusade.com/faq#founder-store-faq I extrapolate from that the following: Reading hard. Decisions will be made when they need to be made First come is first served Within the first to come will be priorities based on hardware requirements for various testing scenarios As a founder you will at some point have early access to the game, and it won't be tomorrow. Yours truly, Crouton @FSCrouton
Except what I asked isn't in the FAQ, at least to the degree you are extrapolating. While it says that "any level of the Founders Pack grants you access to these test periods, but on a strictly first come, first serve basis", it doesn't specifically state that the Founder's Pack itself is registration for the testing period, nor does it illustrate that the Founders Pack is the basis for the first come, first serve. Indeed, it is quite reasonable to interpret it as the Founder's Pack being a requirement, with testing sign-up being at a later date, with those sign-ups determining who is first and who is served.
Maybe we aren't reading the same thing: Further detail: https://www.eternalcrusade.com/faq#founder-store-faq I see very clear answers to your questions, Crouton @FSCrouton
