As long as my serfs have access to it in order to paint the walls. I'd like my quarter to be neat and cozy before moving in. Yea for space quarters!
Alpha testing is great as long as you make sure to create a tool to gather info and feedback from the players (like an integrated survey or bug report button). Then you can just choose whoever you want to playtest in the giant horde of people kissing your feet atm to enter : )
well yes but i prefer dedicate fan that have invest money, and belive in the game, because the people that kiss your feet for enter after be in is the same people screaming and whining QQ about the game how bad is the game it's bugged etc etc etc Because when someone take the credit card at least mean he have more information about the game read something about the game and have some sort of passion for war40k.
Just thinking on this section ... David is talking more about during Alpha and not so much Beta where this would really take effect; bE would do well to bring this campaign to life, not just as a curiosity and exercise in fluff-ing but as a community building project. Letting players mingle and try content together will help us gauge the player temperament and culture of our EC family, Faction and Sub-Factions are. Especially if it's in concert with the Founder's Forums, We can get a Faction/Sub-Faction recruiting forum and private channels setup pre-launch like in other IPs. That way new and unfamiliar players can experience and compare the feel of the mini-communities they're interested in joining while the more committed players seeking leadership roles can introduce themselves through group content and forum experiences. Building it directly into the prologue of Arkhona. I can see 2 other benefits, 1. It would also be a way to bring multiple guilds together around a larger community, helping to shape the sub-faction culture and bonding over it's development. 2. It will make for some interesting friendly rivalry between sub-factions as they compete for popularity, recruits and ultimately, Faction influence. Abstract thoughts for the day ...
