  2. Snow

  3. Mud

  4. Industrial

  5. Grasslands

  6. Craggy, rocky terrain

We have maps in the desert. Sand and rock all about. We have maps in the snow, and a few sections of map in a more industrial environment. What are the chances we could get the new map or a new map with a different geography? The wet muddy ground of torias, or maybe something new like some sort of grasslands? How many people would even want such a thing?

I'd love to see a map with plenty of plant overgrowth/jungle-like stuff, however that would require creating new assets, so it'll remain just a dream :( new map on new biome would be a great visual refreshment and would allow for plenty of fun stuff.
  3. I choose......ALL OF THEM!

Just put a bit of snow here, some sand oh and maybe a building. All in one map. Go crazy! Like it had been twisted by the warp or something.
  4. An Ork camp. Orks set up improvised Warcamps when they invade a world, prior to utilizing captured territory as their primary Warcamps. This would be a non fortress type map set up outside a city. Sandy/grassy type terrain with various elevations(hills, dry river beds, burrows/caves or tunnels).

Use existing assets/terrain to build a heavily improvised Ork Warcamp.

-Use existing vehicle hulks and/or stacks of hulks to make walls.
-Use existing Warhound class Titan Hulks to make idols to Gork and Mork via adding existing Ork iconography to the Wrecked Titan. These Ork icons can be seen on Fortresses owned by Orks. Use the idols to Gork and Mork as objectives via placing the objective cap point at the base of the idol.
-Use existing Thunderhawk model as objective(s)
-Should include a fighting pit(can be used as a circular firing position), squig pens(for fuud), Warbosses hut(another possible objective), dung heaps, stripped down Imperial and Eldar vehicles(for da shinies), and Ork vehicles in various states of disrepair.
-Warbosses lair could be another objective.
-Roks scattered here and there. Roks are modeled and in game. You can see them on the Ork Garrison at one of the far vehicle spawns that's furthest from the main hub.

Here's an Ork keep and concepts to expand upon from Warhammer online.

Captured Imperial aircraft wreck changed into an improvised Ork camp. We have the Thunderhawk modeled and in the Garrison(it used to be, is it still there??). Throw one of those Thunderhawks down on a map, toss on some Ork icons, splash some red paint here and there and put the capture point inside the fuselage. You can get inside the cargo area of those Thunderhawks that used to be on the garrison FYI.

Those are all generic earth like geography's,Have some imagination this is 40k after all.How about a twisted hell scape with rivers of blood? Ork poop fortresses,A crashed space hulk, abandoned space stations.

You can do literally anything with 40k there are no rules. You could have a map that's a giant butt hole if you wanted.

Ork camp/hovel(below) concept art from Warhammer Online. Take note of the fightin pit in the center of the camp. Squig pens are located towards the left side of the camp and the boar pens are at the bottom left.

Idol to Gork? Or Mork? Use a Warhound wreck that we already have in game. Place a similar icon on the head and we have basically the same thing.

No, you can't, because the game is placed on Arkhona, a specific planet with specific lore and biomes.

We already have barren, sandy, rocky and even snowy desert maps. More of this adds nothing to the game.

There are three types environments which I would like to see:

    1. A "green" map with grass, bushes and trees. Doesn't have to be actually green and alive, I'd settle for the dead remains of a jungle.
    2. The inside of a ship, whether crashed or in orbit is irrelevant. Completely enclosed please.
    3. A real urban map. Not the shite that we already have with loosely grouped ruins in the desert. Flat ground and a city which stretches to the horizon. Partially ruined buildings and a skybox which reflects the urban nature of the map.

  9. Of course Arkhona is an Imperial World but the invaders/xenos races would have to set up Warcamps prior to conquering any installations as they do in the novels.

A Chaos camp or open Warp Portal inside a Chaos Warcamp would most certainly have corrupted the surrounding terrain. The only thing limiting what results from an open warp portal is one's imagination.

An Ork camp would be pretty cool. I don't think (even if there were any remaining Eldar buildings) that a battlefield in Eldar stuff would work. Unless it was ruins.
