Stewart let off a primal yell as he was injured by the genestealer bearing his teeth and slashing it's face. He heard one of the new comers yell something but was unable to figure out exactly what and continued fighting the creature on top of him.

Shield, sword and knife were effective in this combination, but they were beginning to get scratches upon their bodies due to the pure mass of bodies that were against them. Similarly, Max and Esran covered the flanks with wide sweeps of their weapons. As the time before they could leave got shorter, the danger before the wall they had created got greater. Prak wasw able to charge forwards and toss an incendiary down the nearest hallway, which seemed to stop the flow from there for now. Unfortunately, this also opened him up for a genestealer to charge behind him and dig claws into his back, not easily being removed. At the same time, Talon was doing his best to do as Esran ordered. His claws fought those of his opponent until he got a bis slash on his 'face', and the genestealer was tors in three by his own. "Man these things do Sayre like dyinbg wonder how they got this far if they charge to there deaths like this?" Alan asked out loud as he brought up his Las pistol and manage to get a head shot on a genestealer attempting to pounce on him.but man this is getting kinda tiring wonder when we are going to reach the end of the bastards. Esran demands to know, roaring as he swung yet again in a wide sweep. It was horrid how they killed so many and yet there were many more to replace them! And beyond that who knows if the hatch actually would open properly and not malfunction?! He trusted this time around that Talon's survival instinct would allow him to keep fighting these weird monsters rather than his friends. But how long could they continue this?

But skill will get you only so far, and the sheer weight and number of assaulting foul aliens was beginning to take his toll on him.Judging by Mira`s grunts, it seemed she didn't fare better either. Even Alan stopped singing. "I do not think..." he said between pants and general exertion as he struggled with an alien "...that these things...have a developed taste."

The beasts all seemed to growl at once as the team's fatigue started to become very, very obvious. And yet, as if answering Esran's question, their saving grace came. The console beeped and then sunk into the floor, which then opened into a hole that seemed to turn into a slide. There was no other way down, and the horde was a wall that they had no hope to get through. So it was go down, or go down. One of those means die. "Let's get on out of here boys and Girls, I don't think these things will ever stop coming, must be like at least five nests of them coming at us I will help cover as you guys head down and possibly be the last one heading down this hole." Alan said as he revved his evisacerator and motioned for the others to go down. OOC Alan attempting to cover the escape.
"Five?! Add a zero to that, Alan!" Esran commented sarcastically, pointing at the hole. "All of you! In there now! That includes you Talon!" He ordered, using his Gauss mace to keep the horde at bay - trying a similar attempt of how one would use a torch to keep ghosts who haunt magic eldar rings or something alike at bay. OOC: To clarify, Esran is covering retreat and just wants to play the awesome guy card by leaving last :3
As the escape hatch finally opened, Max turned around.Shieldbashing the assailing foes he turned to Steward and Mira, yelling over the chargrin of the battle: "Mira get the savage down, I`ll follow you!" as he spoke he nodded to Alan and Esran, as he prepared to descent down the hole.
