I of course support more customization options, but I also don't want to do away with visual signifiers entirely. I find it useful to be able to get a general idea of the enemies capabilities at a glance. I don't want cosmetics to be totally arbitrary. I also don't agree with opening it up to F2Play, as cosmetics are a logical restriction to encourage buying the game. An exclusion that won't effect them but may convince them to join. So not the spirit of more options, but I disagree with the details.
i dont wanna look cool , it doesnt matter to me action in game is to fast to notice anything except basic shapes ..or the distance is to long to see more than very small basic shapes and all these extra cosmetic's will only make the game more intense to run. with out adding anything but some fan boi boners in the char select screen. for example in another game i play called planetside2 the game literally stops rendering cosmetic items based on distance and based on your graphic settings . only to lower the amount of game assets the game needs to render. if they add this i will insist they add an option to turn cosmetics off also. i rather have more frames than more wolf pelts
sweet than by all means bring on the cosmetic's!! ( i to like to pitch tents in the char select screen =D )
Which still leaves, "I guess I'm alright with the level of customization." I think there's enough for right now to customize your character. If anything I'd like to see that time spent smoothing out how cosmetics interact and what details they fill in (like thighs).
Cosmetics are basically my number 1 desire. It might sound silly but I feel that way as adding more should be easy and won't affect balance/mechanics. Surely giving us a steady stream of shiny stuff would grow and sustain player activity when we're going to have weekly faction reward points we can play for to get them. I just want to doll up my ork while I wait for major feature updates. If something is really sugoi I might throw money at it. Just being able to get black and yellow flames on a shoulder pad for my Bad Moonz Ork would be nice to start. That and giving us the option to purchase the gold dag boots with the striped pants instead of one or the other. Give us a boots slot or something. I want to be as bling/flash as possible when my boyz and I swarm and cap the final point and start wildly shooting at the ceiling lights because we know we've won.
