Hi guys! This thread about "I want to look cool" Petition. All community's desires presented on the eternal-crusade.ru/change site. P.S: I know that developers have a lot of important things to do, but I would still like to draw their attention to this problem.
I think the one thing that will be coming our way is lot's of cosmetics. After going free to play this must be the way they intend too make money
I'd actually rather they dropped the Shoot Me Please icon from Veterans and kept their shiney appearance, personally. The rest is fairly on point though.
Shouldn't give F2P cosmetic options from a business standpoint. The point is for them to buy the game, and not letting them make their fantasy character is one of the few ways to do so without going down the Pay2Win route. It won't help the game, in fact it would hurt it as it deincentivizes F2Players to actually contribute.
In my opinion, do what Planetside 2 did and open up the field for player created designs. Then let them be sold in the store. Do you want to make money to further your endeavor? Well, there it is. Some players are insanely gifted and love to show off their work with digital modeling. Let them. Maybe offer a service for players that submit ideas that are accepted. Saves the devs time, they do not have to design and publish this stuff, and the players are happy as they are not stuck with the factions/looks we have now. Everything from armor and weapon skins through tank skins, banners, helmets, seals, backpacks, wings for the fruity faction, you see where I am going with this. It is a win - win really.
Hey, as long as they fit in the lore is like getting GW Putty and creating your armors EDIT: Can we please get the Blood Angel armor with muscles and nipples?
I will be more excited the day they manage to get prompt patch notes up and a warning for upcoming patching/downtime. You are being way too optimistic.
