DoT effects need some tone-downing

  1. so, items like the Rites of Fire, Burny Choppa, Narthecium and "Urty Seringe are right now incredibly powerful in melee and i dare say they even out-perform the melee specialists items, DoT should not apply on clangs and bashes and i'm not sure it should deal that much damage too, nothing is more efficient at keeping control of a cap room than the Painboyz poison nade right now.

  2. Yeah, there is a reason DOT effects are not in low-TTK games, they just dont work well.
    If TTK was increased they'd be fine.

    It's more the part where the dot apply on clang and kick that is bothering me.

    Nerf them all to SoC levels! Let others feel the burn! Bwah haha! No seriously I don't mind it. What I do mind is SoC being so shit in comparison.

    It doesn't effect me enough to warrant huge concern over. We still win battles against players using them and they can be countered so no not really. The biggest issue I have about it all are other factions being able to deal more poison damage than a friggen Nurgle sorcerer but that is more out of jealousy than anything.

    Its only painful watching players just standing there laughing at you when you are using SoC on them. I'm not sure how much Papa Nurgle enjoys that tbf but that's what happens when the devs pander to people screaming for nerfs.

    What do you mean? SoC is in a pretty nice place right now imo.
  10. Well, it's not like you can do anything to avoid it so i guess it could become really overpowered if it was stronger and if the Sorc actually manage to hold it in you for something like 3-4 seconds you're as good as dead.
