They're too busy giving LSM the Grav Guns. Now you can expect: 1. That Dbash to never hit or only lasts half a second. 2. Those headshots made against your center of mass to throw off your aim. 3. To die in one hit from a knife attack to the back. 4. The fortress map you are defending to be a sure loss due to the WAAAGH!!! being active. 5. To melee your ally Painboyz' Dok Bomb because that can happen. 6. The Improvised Shield will get bypassed by any and all melee while breaking in one shot to autocannons. 7. To die again in half a second due to the meta-melta-manure that has been allowed. 8. The Apothecaries to bolter/chainsword while allied Painboyz still have a maximum 75 durability farce with the option for only sidearms. 9. To drive your Trukk on two wheels while the physics engine decides that your trukk is now a scrap-fighta. 10. The new Grav Guns to force you to stand still to die while all of the previous is still unresolved. ... And I expect all but the most diehard Ork players to change factions or quit the game.
Yeah Its feeling like we are covered in dust at the minute, and all the genuine complaints Orks have have just not been adressed, and hey look Grav-guns.
I think there is less playing now amongst the Orkz, in some of the game times. The population is getting low all around though.
The current in-game pop ( http://steamcommunity.com/app/375230 ) is 330. Completely atrocious. It has been shrinking and shrinking because the devs keep thinking we want more gimmicks like medicae grenades and grav guns when what we REALLY DO WANT is a functioning game. I just want my experience to be rewarding. At this point in time my experience is either entirely frustrated with broken mechanics and poor balance, or feeling totally despicable because I had to cheese my way to the top with plasma spam.
OI! Only dat Orkyest of Orks 'ill remain ta climb a mountain of dem NERFS, an' still be da BIGGEST AND DA MEANEST! 'En our stikkbombs don't stick, an' our axes 're as slow as klaws, an boyz die by trukk loads due to our own WAAAGH!, it won't matter none! CAUSE WEZ STILL DA BEST!
Apart from bullshit like melee in general and PC spam, Orks are underpowered but still playable like always. I mean the only thing that changed last patch was our fixed strong attack and hp/headshot tweaks. Don't tell me more armor on marines got yall turned downed now, if we had equal numbers of players (I commonly get into 5v15 matches) we could be winning out there.
That's what I've been saying for weeks: fuck new guns, cosmetics, Terminators. They should throw all their resources to fix the macroscopic issues otherwise EC is doomed. We have very little content at the moment, they should at least make this little stuff works as intended. Fixing melee (animations speed, defensive bash, weapons lunges) should be the top priority. I hope recent Nathan's top 10 thread made the team open their eyes. Then we need another balance pass for weapons and trinkets as some really seem to perform too well, while penetration mods still perform too well making Toughness less important (negating our faction trait, by the way). They should seriously work hard night and day until this is solved, otherwise we have huge problem here. We are at risk EC will sink down like a 3 tons concrete block if they do not improve gameplay. After that they should add WH40K iconic stuff. Bring us Tyranids on surface. Necrons in PvE. Killacans, Dreadnoughts, bikes etc. Ironically they could also get squeeze more money from the game if they only added skins for real money like MOBAs do. I'm sure some players would be happy to pay to look as cool as some GW TT models. Do you know what is really sad instead? I think they won't work next week, due to Halloween. We might see fixes in 2-3 weeks in the best case. I wonder how many players will be still around by then
Personally, I'm a couple of matches away from taking an extended break from the game. I don't like being forced to play another faction because we are so broken, I want it to be a choice I make when I feel like playing CSM or SM. Devs need to fix us, and fix the lingering exploits, sharpish.
