So far it seemed that Sneek was proving perhaps the most lethal of the team as of late, pistol claiming skeleton's skull and seeing its rapier abandoned to cold cavern floor. Elsewhere Sakeis tried his hand at firing the rotary gun looted from still warm corpse of the Apprentice. Pulling the trigger weapon bucked and fired a single shot that flew wide and simply sparked against a wall causing absolutely nothing of consequence. Aside from leaving him open for Parv's hammer to batter his side no doubt to Skaven's delight. Gunther moved up at speed to take on fallen and turned brother under Sigmar. Hammer slammed into armored plate and risen priest simply threw himself into Gunther sending him stumbling back several steps as the skeleton still had a considerable amount of strength and weight.

Elsewhere both Farull and Thorkild were racing toward the same target, Dwarf easily outpaced by brute's wider strides engineer might find himself grateful for this though as Farull ate a cross bow bolt to the jaw that pinned lower to upper, eating would be rather difficult till it was removed to say the least. Throwing itself aside as ogre stampeded past and into a wall it was left helpless as Thorkild's axe fell splitting its skull. Malik wasn't far doing his part in cleaning up the fight with scimitar piercing a zombie's chest before it erupted into flame being so near when Arab finished his accursed cant. flames burnt hotter and bright all about him and another fetid walking pyre was blasted to ash as flames slowly eating away at its body erupted into a cloud of white hot fire. Final zombie wasn't far behind as it was caught in the ensuing flame nova and blasted from existence. It was a moment of grand triumph for the Vizier having wrenched such a grand amount of power through the choking influence of unholy frosts outside. Three true deaths and now he was cloaked in mighty flame ready to carry himself forward to glory! Such was not the plan surviving skeleton had in mind though. Asserting that magic user was truly a threat that needed addressing it came barreling forward and threw itself into him from behind boring him down to the ground. Even as its body, rife with unholy energies, was blackened about it there was plenty of energy left for it to violently begin bashing his head into the ground. Bone fingers sunk into his scalp drawing blood and giving Malik one last moment of pain before it all went numb then faded to black, a single loud crack of his skull being busted open against stone, brains spilling out into a bloody puddle.

Argot meanwhile was off in his own little world, sitting on properly murdered ogre's corpse and reloading his pistols, grumbling like a bratty child in the aftermath of what a cock up this whole trip was becoming.

With the Rotary Rifle just firing a round that did nothing but leave him open to being attacked, Sakeis tossed it aside for now and used his now freed-up claws to attempt to savage his risen foe, rage and contempt for the Undead being the only feelings he can muster in the wake of Malik's death as while he might not have seen it happen, the Lizardman certainly heard the man from Araby having his life cruelly cut short by a Skeleton by his skull being smashed on a rock. Needless to say, he would strive to make sure that Malik's death was not in vain.

"Wrrraaaaaaaggghhhh!" Farull screams ripping out the bolt with his hands putting it in his pack. He turns to the crossbones that shot him and promptly beats him into dust.

Laughing his rat-rear off that this silly lizard-thing was too stupid to operate a gun, Sneek remained in his comfortable position while working to reload his pistol. He had not seen yet that Malik had perished, but it would have made no difference to him. After all, he was just a man-thing, if a firey one, and all that he had to offer were warpstone-less fire tricks.

Well, at least he would serve as lunch now, after this fight would be over.

"FACE ME COWARD!" Gunther shouted as the undead priest pushed him away. "I WILL NOT BE DENIED BY THE LIKES OF YOU! TASTE MY HAMMER!" roaring in mindless zeal, Warrior Priest once again came at his evil counterpart and brought his warhammer low, aiming to break one of the undead's knees with the blow.
  6. after splitting the skull of the skeleton, Thorkild turned around, just as Farull pounded the redead to dust, and what he saw was greatly disheartening, the death of Malik did bring him sorrow, for this was now the second good human to die, while basteds lived on.
"BY GRIMNIR YOU WILL BE AVENGED" Thorkild hollared as he bit down on pain in a charge of the skeleton, to bring it down quick would be some sort of retribution for the southlander, even magic users can be good people.

Combat between Parv, Sakeis and Gunther was honestly rather dull this round as lizardman's claws raked at bone and armor doing little to ultimately harm before being forced to back away lest hammer give him the 'Malik Special'. Gunther was able to get a clipping slam in in the wake of blow but was just as quickly warded off by a return swing. Neither mercenary had been struck but damage inflicted was pitifully low. Everyone else meanwhile was closing in upon one very unfortunate skeleton that was just starting to get its footing back after busting Malik's melon. In turn Thorkild split another skull while Farull was busy pummeling already felled undead to dust to sate his own anger at having been shot up so thoroughly. Argot stood up with a snarl having lost another good mercenary.

"Why da useful ones all do the dying make? This can't keep happening! All you do less dying make and more killy make, NOW!" Fully aware it was about to be targeted by foes of greater strength, gut and numbers skeleton began to turn tail and flee, a tactical retreat deeper into the cavern where no doubt greater horrors might still lurk having missed shrieking call to arms.

OOC: Casavay you can attack once with your pistol and reload in the same turn, only crossbows and rifles require a full turn to reload. Firing a single hand firearm allows free reload, only when you want to reload two or more does it require a turn! :D

"STOP IN THE NAME OF SIGMAR!" Gunther shouted as Parv turned and ran, Warrior Priest angry at the creature. The undead were supposed to be mindless drones, way too stupid to try and make such smart decision as to retreat once overrun. Although it did one mistake which was turning its back on Gunther.

He took hold of his warhammer with both hands and aimed at the fleeing undead priest before he threw his weapon at him in lack of a better ranged option, hoping to score a hit on Parv's exposed back and perhaps slow him down enough for the rest of his comrades to catch up and help him dispense justice.

Having spent his anger on the dust pile Farull turned to see what everyone else was looking at. He saw Malik, and promptly walked over and closed his dead eyes one last time.

"You won't get away!" Sakeis snarled at Parv, not letting his vengeance be denied by the cowardice of his Undead foe. So he pressed his attack again but this time used his tail to strike at Parv, trying to knock him down so that it left the Undead at the mercy of the band.... Not like the Lizardman expected that the group would have any mercy at all for the last vestige of their opposition after the loss of one of their own.
