Its a fun gun and probably one of the more orky weapons as it stands. I agree with savij though. Remove my ability to aim, double my bullets and increase my fire rate to 900 RPM. Im not there to aim, Im there to brag about my flash!
I just dont like how the Dakka Deffgun locks you down while firing while the other heavy weapons retain their range of motion
See, the problem here is this is how all Ork guns should be: Loud, high powered, crazy ROF, and about as accurate as a shotgun at distance. Ork guns shouldn't be on par with bolters in terms of dps as a standard. They should be from volume of fire. Remember, Orks are like the Imperial Guard - Sledgehammer of force. Space Marines and Eldar are the scalpel.
They really don't. You're not going to hit anything if you try to move as heavy with suppression weapon.
I get where you are coming from. Especially since the ace dakka for DPS or big shoota for suppression are much better options. Not sure how to get this gun in a sweet spot but also balanced. Maybe increase ROF to ~700 which would give the DPS, but also make it harder to keep on target.
Removing aim and having the RPM at 900 seems like a good idea. It's the rodeo shoota of deffguns. Without aim, don't bother bracing, or of course, aiming, just dakka a general direction and maybe something will stick. It's pretty bad already, so at least make it unique and flavorful.
