Yep I want my 40k-skinned Planetside 2. The moment someone makes one, I will be switching to that in a flash and likely spending way too many hours of my life on it. EC will do for now. It's pretty fun. It's not the dream, though. The world map and campaigns might bring some extra fun, but it will always fall short of the dream until I can walk across a continent.

Do I want a WH40k version of Planetside2? Fuck, yeah! Do I want EC to become that game? Dear gods, no! Do I think they should have just licensed the PS2 engine, tweaked and reskinned it? Yeah, probably...
Ugh no...PS2 is so ugly. Say what you will about things matching or not matching our "vision" of how each class etc should look right now but EC is by and large pretty to look at while mowing down your enemy of choice. Are there more cutting edge graphics games out there? Of course, but they aren't aimed at large numbers of people being in the same game at once.
More like I don't understand why you jump at me over stuff I did not mention. I am against Tyranids as means to balance population. On subject of campaigns I said nothing.
