I think the funny thing is it seemed like Chaos actually wanted a new character as the faction leader. The response to Abaddon seemed to be split amongst, not Failbaddon!, isn't he a bit OP?, and I thought he was busy with the whole Black Crusade thing. Imperial Guard actually gets a lot of their own lore though, even if they tend to get stomped when Astartes take center stage.
IG get stomped so hard everywhere, most of the time we barely get more than a footnote of reference. Their greatest achievement is when they lost millions of men and vehicles holding Cadia. One of their characters is built around getting as many men killed. But this thread isn't about the Imperial Guard, much less the panzy gitz.
No it ain't ya git! It's 'bout the Orks! But yeh, it is a bit sad t' see those 'umies bareleh gettin' any recognision 'dey deserve. Ah mean, 'dey ARE tha gits who foight against tha Spikey boyz, da mutated 'fingies and 'ERRYTHING ELSE, and holdong 'em back too, before 'dose postah boyz show up!
Okay, well first off you can't say the reason SM are stronger then Orks in lore is just an narration bias, 1v1 space marines are undeniably better. - That's basically a universal fact of Wh40k. However, in regards to the game ETERNAL CRUSADE, I agree that Orks should not inherently be weaker then marines 1v1. (however, if they give an advantage to orks were lets say, 4 orks are better then 4 marines, i could understand it) The reason I say this, is because I know that no one will play orks if the are weaker 1v1. And yes, we know some people will "Love the CHALLENGE!" but most people would rather have a even playing field. Basically, I would rather have less lore friendly orks, and a fun PVP game, then have the game just be SM, CSM, and Eldar
