Do Morale And Leadership Mechanics Have A Place In This Game?

Well maybe morale doesn't have to affect PCs, but NPCs instead. I believe each factions will have their own NPCc for a moderate degree of strategic assets defense when no PCs are around. Maybe without any players around to help defend an objective, NPC's might be able to fail morale checks and get pinned or even run away. You might then acquire upgrades for those strategic assets in order to keep up morale. Just tossing out ideas =P.

But I agree that regardless, it shouldn't give any direct penalties to players or take control away from them.
  2. well then i think we should maybe just have a suppressing bar which decrease when a bullet hits near you or fly around you
  3. Well, practically speaking the only bonus good leadership should give you is that your unit isn't a disorganized mob that gets themselves killed easily in short order. Just like IRL. I am certain Ork players will cry rivers about this as soon as the game is out.
  4. Thats why you never play with a f2p crowd.

That's why you play Orks though.
  6. I don't think it's necessary to rag on F2P players so much. They are an integral part of any successful first person shooter on PC, some are just as serious as paying players and just don't have the money (<-like me in highschool and early college). Plus as a Night Lord Raptor I'll probably go run around solo doing my own stuff for a bit, just enjoying the game and the environment in the way that pleases me. When I want to work with a group I'll go cap objectives and join some warband.
    Asurael and Silverwing like this.

Well, Orks will probably have WAAAGH! anyway.
