I was so excited when i first got this game that even after sticking to what I said about early access games and never buying them again after Warframe that i went ahead and did, but now I regret it. I have been on a nonstop losing streak and particularly on one map, I have no idea what it's name is but it's a siege style map i guess where you have to take the points in order. To just get to it the space marines (And it was the same players each time too) would blow their own gates while defending to get more spawns then about 5-10 of them would get into this extremely tall tower and just snipe at every one with all most aim bot efficient accuracy, also no way to get them out of it as you have to traverse a long spiral stair case that they all most immediately kill you on the second you step inside, it was miserable and I hated every minute of it. I know the Devs of the game won't fix it I doubt they care or any of the players do either, was just hoping for more from what felt like a spiritual successor to space marine. It was miserable I hated every moment of it, first time I ever just wanted to quit from the game and just install the game I hated it so much, Please leave all spelling and punctuation corrections and N word filled comments about how I am a baby and a pussy and how I suck in the comments please since i know this literally doesn't matter.
Try a more sneaky-sneaky approach. I generally favor a very fast time to kill, but not in this game. Latency and headshots make for a very fast death if you don't have cover. You really need to use cover as much as possible. That's the only thing I can tell you as your text doesn't really give any other hints about where you can work on improving your gameplay experience. (the developers are aware of the problems with fortress gates)
You can also not queue for Fortress maps if they give you too much trouble. It is 30v30, hardly a map that can be carried often when your team just isn't meshing well enough to thwart enemies who play dishonorably. You can find this in the options menu and toggle it back when you want to return to the level.
Oh trust me I do but it doesn't matter when the person firing at you can easily shoot over it, or just now I Thought hey I'll give it another shot maybe it was just that map and those ppl, so i get into a game with Eldar and they just fucking sweep us I have never played as a defender on that map and lost so fast be for, Was trying to heal some Havocs and three swooping hawks land on a inaccessible ledge and waste all of us, literally no one to move them out of there. so I give up. I doubt that the Devs are aware of anything, this is most likely another F2P cash grab on the GW IP. Could have been fun also thanks didn't think any one would reply, just going to uninstall since I can't get good and leave my bad rating for the game.
Well I get your frustrated which is understandable but you probably should have taken a breather first as this post is full of self defeatist attitude. People do care as well as devs but you can't always see that. It also sounds like they could be using aim bots in which case you should have ss and submitted the screen shots in a support ticket. Other things could be a factor to, like was your side coordinated or trickling in? I would definately submit a support ticket.
Sorry to hear about your frustrating experiences. I can definitely relate. A few suggestions. -You can disable fortress maps under settings/options. The setting is easy to get lost in the mix but scroll down until you see something about "disable fortress maps" and turn them off. I"ve got to where I disable Fortress maps except for weekends. It's crazy and gets old loading into the same Fotress 3 matches in a row and being the attacker or defender on the same damned map 3 matches in a row. Just turn them off till you feel like trying one out. -Follow a squad mate or follow a group of players during a match. Some may be newbies like yourself, others may have been around and you might learn a thing or two. -Check into joining a guild. http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/forums/recruitment.51/ -Dont take ques vs Eldar if you find it too frustrating. Get the basics down vs the other 3 then give Eldar a try. Try playing Eldar for yourself. Though TBH I stopped taking Eldar ques about 6 months ago(hit cancel before you load into the match) and I'm a happier and healthier gamer for it.
Honestly as for that first game, you can not blame the actions of a few shitty players on the devs I mean: come on. The rest of your problems sound like what every new player in EC experiences: You have no idea whats going on, where to go or why the enemy seems to be killing you in two hits, when you need ten. It gets better, quite fast actually if you focus on learning the maps and make sure, to stay with your team. EC has problems with the new-player-experience and it also has a steep learning curce, but it is beyond me, what you are blaming on the devs. Balance, mind you, is overall pretty good, most problems are PEBCAK, although there are some legitimate concerns. However, I think we need to focus on the actual issue in this post: If there is any game out there that did everything right, its Warframe. If they dont measure up to your standards, nothing will. Ever.
The game in the waaay early days, I am talking about 2015, was absolutely brutal! Instant death for me..rinse and repeat. I am a glutton for punishment and love Warhammer 40k so I stuck with and love this game now and enjoy it a great deal. I have friends on steam with 2000+ hours on this game ( I have far less than that ) and the reality is you just aren't going to best these players early on without a bit of luck. Like anything, if you care to put the time in, you will be rewarded. The game is in the best shape it has ever been and if you are having bad luck with LSM, go play another faction. Hope you give it another shot! My general rule if I lose two matches in a row, give it a rest for a while or play another faction. Really works well.
Try switching over to chaos for a bit, solo queueing as chaos is a more pleasurable experience than lsm.
Never had an experience like that...........ever. Mind you LSM is my least played faction.If you're playing chaos I have noticed a general down grade in performance by them lately,They are getting to LSM levels of stupidity. Where you playing vs a clan stack by any chance?
