The reaper is much better at that job. It's a waste to use the DA in that manner. It's like using the FD as a melee class. Itcan do it. Doesn't mean that's how you play it.
Sure, but you might already be Dire Avengers, so no value in redeploying, especially if the Point is still being capped. I'm not suggesting DAs hold capped points, that would be lunacy, given they're the only class that can cap other ones.
PSA You can remove the banner from Dire Avenger by equipping any other thing that is in its place in your loadout options. Unsleeping eye (unlocked from advancement tree of DA) seems to do it well. Bear in mind that different banners give different buffs.
Yeah, we worked this out the other day. It's a shame really. I think it might work better if the flag was a bit lower down on the Avenger's back, so it doesn't affect the profile as much.
I hope they make the banner a bit "transparent" so you can actually aim when wearing it, not that I wouldn't take the banner if they didn't do that, but it would be rather nice.
