Destructible respawning targets in the Garrison

    Is there a chance we could get some mockup vehicle targets and possibly some fortification targets to test AV damage on in the garrison? Or at least altering the dead warriors to have vehicle or fortification toughness properties? Thanks.

    Yes please, recently I want to know how many Strong Attacks it takes for an un-modded vrs modded Fist / Klaw to down all vehicles for all factions in a safe environment free of interference.

    Currently you can only spawn your own vehicles which you cant destroy with Fist / Klaw, even if you could destroy it, it wouldn't give an accurate idea of damage vrs faction.
  3. Sounds like heresy to me. I think it would be better/more in with lore if we had this:

    Static targets that show damage numbers, like the tyranids already present in the Garrison. This could be wreck parts of enemy vehicles or fortifications. No destroying, no respawning, just like the 'nids.

    And then we need vehicle loadouts that show hit points and armor, or maybe devs just telling us (interesting enough that no one tried this yet).

    Rest is math.

    Mechanicus simulacrums, daemon facsimilies, ork mockup targets, Eldar....doodaddery? There are explanations that are perectly fluffy but we need something. If nothing else like I said have a selection of warriors with the stats of the vehicles.

    Much like Planetside2's VR training map, that'd be great. (They have yet to implement a "dueling area" in planetside2, but well, can't have it all I guess?)

  6. Something like that could actually be possible. I don't know what it's like in Planetside, but I can imagine something like a console in the garrison you activate to get into some kinda holoroom, where you can use the dev-tools we've seen in some streams (or something similar) to spawn enemies or choose weapons.

    Well, in PlanetSide, you use in-world terminals to switch loadouts, spawn your own tanks, resupply ammo or grenades, etc. The VR training map has about all the factions vehicles, aircraft and infantry deployed before you in an open field and let's you try absolutely every weapon without the need to buy them (can't get them out of the VR map tho, unless you buy them). Every thing you can kill in this map will automatically respawn a few seconds later. You cannot damage other players (unless you get them to board an aircraft and willingly crash it, huhuhu), so it behaves quite like EC's Garrison in that sense.
    (You can even try all the cosmetics for free)

    It's pretty neat. I would be delighted if the garrison were like this.
