sweet mother of god. thats probably as close as you can get to 40k. that is, if the gameplay will just be as awesome as the looks of it.
Exactly, I wanted to say the same although I also doubt these are factual screenshots, still it gives hope. The atmosphere is perfect and the tyranids have...SCARY EYES .
tbh, ive checked on the unreal 4 engine. it wouldnt be surprising for it to be ingame screenshots, i think most of the teasers for unreal 4 were no cg movies, but actual ingame footage.
its very gpu intensive, has incredible advanced shaders, global illumination, crazy shadows... everything you could hope for. but it needs a beefy comp to run even on low.
Do you know the exact specs? edit: ok I got it: Desktop PC or Mac Windows 7 64-bit or Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later Quad-core Intel or AMD processor, 2.5 GHz or faster NVIDIA GeForce 470 GTX or AMD Radeon 6870 HD series card or higher 8 GB RAM so, I need 4 more GBs of RAM and maybe a better gpu, (I'll have to buy it for EC anyway).
Cool if its actually in game and not out of engine renders they're using to deceive us and the final product will look like complete crap. Let just assume for now that its legit until then my gripes with some of the design decisions. Firstly in the third shot the textures on the Genestealers look good except for the one on the left its legs looks too smooth the same goes for the storm bolter they both have a plastic look to them and while I'm talking about the bolter in that shot its magazine looks like testicles with skulls molded onto it. But the biggest problem is the fourth shot with the pauldrons and arms being so spread apart from the body. They made the huge dumb space between shoulders and body like the models but that not how the models were designed to look its a defect. Over all its cool if its real but theres still a ways to goes with this game before its done.
Well fuck, time to buy a new PC, if Unreal Tournament 4 and EC also need those high specs I'm screwed.
