Goreparan kept on fireing the bolter with his right hand while his left took out the shrapnel near his helmets eye socket. With a snort the Minotaur began to move in a zigzag pattern both to make himself harder to hit tho he doubted the orks even knew the concept of aimining and to make himself a mobile target to avoid being a still target for their nades. Thanking the machine spirit of his armor he tried to move side ways from the oncoming kommandoz to flank them and if possible put some distance between him and them. After all the longer he could keep the orks at bay the longer he could keep them busy and the longer he could kill them. Fireing his bolter on the move and when he stopped still for aimed head shots he did his best to kill more of the damned vermin.

"Avenge Lichas! For he is at the side of his progenitor and the Emperor now, and we shall not allow him to be disappointed in having us as references of his last battle brothers! Show this misbegotten kind what the Deathwatch, what your chapter and your very own name stands for!" Zuriel roared through his vox-speakers, intending to rally his fellow Space Marines with litanies of hatred to bring vengeance to the greenskins. Too often they got away on Armageddon, but not today. The blackness of the Deathwatch armor darkened even further, feeling his flesh hot, but having endured worse. His Glaive came down, cutting the gas tank from the gun, spraying it all over the Skorcha wielding Ork. A last burst of flame targeted at the Sanguine Templar not burning the Astartes but instead setting himself aflame. The Ork started to run around in circles before rolling around on the floor, screaming and crying as the liquid promethium melted his flesh and bones. The remaining Ork utilized the shoota-part of his weapon and tried to kill Zuriel without setting himself on fire.

Kleos was a stubborn bastard, taking the rounds of the Big Shoota as if he was made out of Adamantium and Titanium, taking the piercing shots into his armor and flesh while firing back relentlessly. That was until Harvom intervened, intercepting the shots of the Ork with his shield, while allowing Kleos to continue his own barrage from a slight flanked position. Despite the wounds and impacts he did not falter his aim, until the Ork was dead. Harvom did not even need to move in for the kill, the Devastator being a capable warrior himself. Once again, the scout made a difference. Was it not for him, Kleos might have died - as the Devastator bled from various spots in his armor - the clotting process already having begun of his Larraman Cells.

Galen took another salvo through the choppa and shoota Orks, but sadly managed only to shoot one before two of them reached him melee. He was not putting Magnificence down, instead using it as a melee weapon, ramming the heavy weapon into the first one, but receiving a choppa to the neck, which he evaded only barely from a life threatening blow by moving a bit to the side. The other intended to gut the Marine, but a kick quickly disarmed the choppa from the Ork. And so the struggle of two versus one had begun, the Kommando Orks far more skilled than regular boys.

    Narok
It took him the entire clip despite aimed shots, but eventually enough hits landed in the shotgun-wielding Ork's neck to drop him dead. He managed to unload a shot into the side of Harvom however before dying, the shotgun shells penetrating the light scout armor. While not causing anything too serious, it would definitely sting and require his Larraman cells to prevent an infection.

Just as his target fell, Narok felt a feeling of dread. As if death itself was looming over the group. And in fact, how would they get out? Their techmarine did use the Vera Krauz to target the Rok. They had to find a way out, at least have some sort of retreat plan. Sadly, as he knew, Harvom had used all his explosives he wore. And their grenades combined wouldn't be enough to blast the debris off. Unless. They could destroy the glass of the bridge and try a space walk. Or he could attempt to create a gate of infinity. There were also a few other options one might consider, even if risky still. One was to have a Thunderhawk called in to pick them up right at the glass of the Rok's bridge. Or request a teleport from the Stations Teleportarium. None of these options that the Librarian might think of being less risky than the other.

    Goreparan

And vengeance was unleashed in the form of bolter hails. Not one, but two Orks fell from the fire of the Minotaur. His clip was wasted down to all but one shell. While there were Orks to kill, the Apothecary in him - and his HUD brought up various alerts. Zuriel suffered from burns, though nothing critical just yet. Harvom just took a shot it seemed, his rune going from an idle green to an alerted yellow. But a concern was Kleos who stood like a true warrior of Cretacia, shooting death incarnate in the face as he bled and leaked from multiple spots. His rune being in a deep amber, just a blow away to turn into an alarming red. Then there was also Galen who was fine as of now, if it wasn't for the remaining two Orks clubbering at Galen, trying to kill him.

    Orochi & Viserys
Crownmakah chuckled as the duo attacked them in unison. He used his power sword to block the power fist, the blade somehow withstanding against all of Orochi's prowess. "Oy! U got zum otha shiny fing!" The Ork suddenly stepped to the side, just when Viserys was making his move, putting Orochi in the way of Viserys. The Pistol was dropped, and with quick sticky fingers, the Ork managed to steal Nobitsura Kage. Now he was wielding his orky power sword and the blue-glowing Katana. "Feelz weird! But Gud! Lets test da choppa! WAAAAAGH!"

And as he bellowed his 'Waagh' the blue glow of the weapon in fact turned green with a core of orange, as if the Ork was channeling even more power into the blade. He dashed into Orochi, who rolled under the way but exposed Viserys. The avenging angel was ready for the assault and blocked the Ronin's weapon with his power sword. Without much effort from the Ork, the power sword simply broke. Before losing his arm - or worse, one of his vital organs, he managed to bring Lichas' Axe of Ultramar around to parry the Katana. But that is when the Orky power sword came and did not just pierce Viserys' secondary heart, but in fact got stuck inside of him.

"Wat a sham! Was a gud blad'! But got gudda choppa nau!" Crownmakah laughed, Kage's powerfield radiating with Waagh that seemed to invigorate the remaining Orks in the room. He swung the blade in a few tries, waiting for Orochi to attack.

Tarcain only stopped once at a dead Assault Marine of the Sons of Guilliman to pick up Chainsword and Bolter, making it easy to gauge for Hesiod that he in fact was an Assault Marine.

The two moved deeper into the battlefield, there was nothing notable going around them as a few Orks fought the organized reinforcements of the Sons of Guilliman, no Ork being allowed to leave their deployment zone. They could run freely up to the Rok's entrance that the Kill-Team and Roland took before. And it was easy to tell that they could descend into it, and make their way out - considered if they made it out before the timer would reach '0:00' for the Vera Krauz to attack.

"Techmarine. We have the opportunity to change history. Unless you want to have it take it's natural course. The Sons of Guilliman. They were tainted. While I do not know the origin of the corruption. It must be linked to Roland. I doubt he did corrupt them willingly. Or if he perhaps simply was not there to keep them pure. But he has served the same Inquisitor who sent you. And he has served on many battlefields before, having fought daemons and other beasts alike. And I fought alongside him in an old Kill-Team. So I have two theories. Either he died. Or the Emperor's Children found a way to break him. Which leaves the obvious on the table. Do you wish to assassinate him, and attempt to keep the Sons of Guilliman pure ourselves. Or will you attempt to keep him pure?" Tarcain explained and inquired with deep thought. After all, he had multiple years spent on board here, prepared for this moment - although in another time.

Serf-Servitors were ready at the well-stocked armory, cases of various chapters arranged and locked. Both Ruine and Alaster managed to access their gear with standard access codes sacred to their chapter. The serfs came to life and under Yeveri's supervision armed both in the gear they came with. For Ruine that meant his blessed Autocannon, and for Alaster his Storm Shield artifact 'Stormborne' and a Power Sword.

But as they were ready to deploy, there was suddenly a fourth Astartes amidst them, clad in Deathwatch Armor and bearing the symbol of the Iron Hands, also wearing a force hood behind his helmet. "Now that we are all geared up, let us deploy, brethren. And thank you again for rescuing us from the prison, Brother Salamander."

Somehow they knew him, yet he was strange to them. Probably just because he was a psyker, after all Yeveri and Hesiod just saved him from the prison along with Ruine and Alaster. "Why do you look at me like that? You just broke me free. I was here with Tarcain. My name is Palladine, remember?" And just as he spoke along with a sleight of hand that went unnoticed by the three Astartes, they all remembered, exactly as he just told them. One would never get used being around Psykers, even if they were fellow Battle Brothers.

Palladine wielded his Force Staff in one hand, and a chronicle of his chapter in the other hand, closed and chained to his wrist. He got it taken away once, he would not have it taken again.

Orochi Mizakune scowled as the ork managed to nick his power katana, somehow channeling a source of energy to turn it orange. It seemed the blade was stronger than before, as he spotted its green glow with a strange orange core; he wondered why the whole thing wasn't green, given the orks' propensity for the color. Still he powered up his jump pack, and shot directly at the warboss. Pulling up a vox channel to the Blood Angel, he spoke up. "Can you fight Brother Viserys? I will attempt to hold the greenskin's attention on me, while you strike from the rear. He might very well think your injuries have taken you out of this fight."

Orochi flew at the warboss, swinging Rynn's Spite in a flurry of punches once again. "You have two arms, two sword, and I have one with none. Still, you will marvel at the Emperor's light when I take your head from your shoulders xeno!" he taunted the ork, even as he watched his own blade in its hands and the power sword in the other, aiming to weave between the two blades in order to land a decisive blow upon the enemy commander.

As they moved across the battlefield, Blood Raven scavanging for weapons and Hesiod for ammuniotion, only to have it expended upon any Ork too far away from him, to charge it. With his brutal, yet sophisticated pollaxe he moved foward the tunnel where the entrance led to the depths of the Rokk. Judging from the vox, and echoes of gunfire down the corridor, his brothers were were already fighting the head of the beasts.

Yet the words of the suspicion-laden crimson-clad Astartes next to him, its color and heraldry not so much different from his own gave him pause. If he had any semblance of common sense he would walk away now, this talk of changing history and knowing events before they happend smelled of witchery to him. Yet with that witchery some of his gene-brothers defeated the curse within themselves.

The pause, infuriated him, for he gave credence to Tarcain`s words.
"I am not an assassin. Let us help our brothers, and we`ll worry about that Chapter Master and his misbegotten Chapter, once we are done with the immediate threat." Hesiod said as he looked at the charnel house of the greenskins and the blue-clad Sons holding the perimeter.

Turning around he made to go down the tunnel.

  5. Trying not to cry out in pain as the warboss shoved its own power sword into his chest Viserys glanced down at the shattered pieces of his blade, looking over at the Ronin with a forced grin.
"Even if I couldn't fight Brother Orochi, I still would."
He'd earned that blade and Dante had even let him keep it when he was sent into exile. To see it broken...

Knowing it might kill him Viserys removed Crownmakah's sword and cast it aside before making use of Orochi's taunting to launch his own assault on the warboss, moving behind it and bringing down his borrowed Axe in an attempt to cut through it's spine.

Yeveri had stood by and made sure that his own gear was in working order as he watched over the Serfs working on the other Astartes Armor. What came, though, he wasn't prepared for. An Iron Hands Librarian as it seemed. For a moment he wondered what he was doing here, since he hadn't been seen before. But then, he remembered. He had been inside the prison, and they let him out. He shook his head and helmet, trying to shake the fog that always came near one of his psychic brethren.

"Brother Palladine... yes." he said, nodding his head afterwards. "All thanks can be held off until we reach the battle and have defended this station." he said, taking charge of the group as the only one who had not been in prison. "We are all armed and armored, so come. We deploy to the front lines." he said, before going onto Vox.

    < @High_Adept_Zeth >

"Brother Hesiod, I am on my way to you and the battle with brothers Ruine, Alastar and Palladine. Time to arrive is approximately five minutes. Keep yourself and our brothers alive to the best of your ability." he reported before going to the door, waiting for the rest to lead them through the halls.

After at last being able to wield his arms and armour once again Alaster spent a while just glaring at the librarian. Where had he come from? Why was he here? How had he just appeared here!? Then, suddenly it all seemed to make sense. He'd been around all along of course. Seeing as how everything seeme in order Alaster took a moment to feel the weight of Stormborne and his power sword before heading for the door.

Goreparan changed his clip when he noticed that he was down to one last bolt shell. With a quick glance, he took in all the status alerts on his display before taking a quick glance to see the situation. Kleos and visreys both needed medical attention but visreys was too far away to help anytime soon and while kleos was wounded he did not seem to need immediate medical attention. The fight, however, was not looking good.

Judging that helping galen out first would be better for the group the minotaur made his way towards the Devastator. Taking his time to aim and fire while walking slowly goreparan once more aimed for kill shots or if the Devastator was in danger then shots to turn aside the dangerous blow and cripple the greenskin.

“Kleos don’t push it, wait for medical attention soon, same goes to you as well visreys” he voxed as he helped galen.

After he was done helping galen deal with the orks he would try to make his way towards kleos and administer healing serums to the wounded devastator.

"As you say, Techmarine." Tarcain merely noted, climbing down at the side of Hesiod, being more mobile thanks to the lack of extreme heavy armor and servo-arm, although he would be far more vulnerable. "So what's the plan. Are we getting the rest of the kill-team out or is our primary target Siri-.... Roland?" Tarcain asked, revving the chainsword a bit in his hand as they made their approach into the tunnels. Corpses by now were mixed by Sons of Guilliman, although the Ultramarine descendants were far fewer than the Orks.

From the sounds of it, the battle was only one corner away, the Sons making supposedly their retreat. Although it did halt as the sounds did not come closer or went further. Waagh and Imperial battle cries being exchanged.

If Hesiod was to approach along with Tarcain, they would come around a corner from which they were to see the Orks with their backs towards the Astartes duo and they were plenty as well. Lootas standing in line firing heavy barrages as the Sons of Guillimans hid behind makeshift cover made from scrap and Ork corpses. The heavy-armed lootas were assisted by Shootas, their Sluggaboyz already having perished at the skilled hands of Guilliman's kin.

Tarcain tried the weight of his blade a bit, his bolt pistol locked and loaded, yet waiting on the order of Hesiod before acting.

Under Yeveri's leadership, the group of four Astartes soon found themselves on the same battlefield that Hesiod and Tarcain had wandered on. The staggered fights between Sons of Guilliman and Orks having died down completely now. A squad of the Sons approaching them, lead by a man armed in Terminator Armor, in fact the only Astartes near or far in Terminator armor.

"These are not Deathwatch Marines. Who are you and what are you doing here?" He inquired, Assault Cannon ready in one arm, power fist in the other. He was flanked by two Tactical Marines on each side armed with standard Bolters.

Palladine growled under his helmet. "We are obviously here to help you and your chapter against this infestation. Let us pass and save them and the rest of the Kill-Team." The Librarian demanded, not even waiting for Yeveri to speak.

The Terminator snarled and ignored the Librarian, focusing his helmeted visage on the Salamander, awaiting for him to reply how he dared to obviously not just free prisoners but allow them to gear up, as well.

The Ork now had a piece of what could very well be Archeotech, or perhaps Warped, weaponry. That extra shiny katana was being flooded with all sorts of Waaaaaaagh energy by the looks of it and a color change was probably the least of their worries. Kommandos seemed thinned out enough at this point he could turn his attention to the prize, chrono was ticking and annihilation waited for no marine. Bolter kicked up and Harvom sighted in on Crownmaka, waiting for his opportunity to put a bolt through the big lug's brain, or at least into his hand to disarm him.
