I just realized something. The doors between the human part of the webway and the Emperor's throne room are being held shut by the Emperor, the most powerful human psyker ever. The human part of the webway is under constant daemonic attack. We're all going to die a finger's-length away from the doors.
And by some ungodly chance we do get through, we then have to fight a Legion of Custodes who are capable of saying said Warp Gate for 10 millenia. Easy stuff

Well he literally could just go to Seelenbrand, or you know any of the navigator houses which may have ties to the Dark Angels, or a merchant who might be setting out for The Rock or nearby. Astartes are very respected and in the worst case scenario he goes to the Deathwatch and demands a ride ^^
Uhhhh the popular belief amongst Astartes at the moment is the same as 41st millenium belief: The Emperor is kept alive by the daily sacrifice of psykers + the life sustaining capabilities of the Golden Throne; but if that is Tul's belief, I roll with that. Just don't call him 'Corpse Emperor' XD Also you may recognize the name 'Tur'tes Shen', an Apothecary as one of the heroes of the Battle of Terra who had later become a Deathwatch Chief Apothecary and was lost during one of his deployments - thought dead ever since. He is nothing but a historic figure as this was as far ago as a thousand years ago.
