I get ya. What I dont get is why you would wait for me, if you say the time for talk is over lol Also, @Uriel1339 I am not sure I get this pysker system. So you can use a cast every single turn, even though powers have just been awakened? It just does not make sense that a marine who's pysker gene has just been awakened can cast a seemingly endless number of spells. Nothing against your system or his character, it just seems like it makes the character OP.
I do it out of fairness because Claudius literally could have killed Jacen in 1 turn with a few good hits and his shield (which got only disarmed because double crit. hits by Jacen) and because Jacen is not a common psyker - if he was to live we would actually see that unfold... But well you lot chose... This, lol. In all honesty I had hoped Jacen would at least Claudius go and be like 'live to fight another day'. Though seeing it now in action most likely it's going to be like this: Lexicanum = Psyker Skills 2 Handed Codicer = Psyker Skills 1 Handed Epistolary = Free Also you could just walk through the portal to 'escape' if that was your wish. But there is another random factor that has a chance to intervene the fight anyway which I will have to roll for which may destroy Jacen's plan of a martyr death as well.
But do you risk fairness for another player to devalue a more experienced player. Because in three turns he has used three different spells. I do not say this because he is fighting me, but if a new pysker (unique or not) uses whatever spells they want it makes a class that is more powerful than all the rest.
To be honest from my point of view the number of spells shouldnt be a problem since spell making is instinctual for a psyker and they are suppose to be more powerful than their counterparts at a risk. And I applaud that Jacen has stayed in his strick disciplines which is what seperates experience for older psykers is disciplines not spells. Spells are more a factor or stamina not knowledge.
So Claudius being a very experienced assault, should be able to used a bunch of assault abilities as long as they line up with my disciplines right? My point is, that when a character can use an unlimited number of buffs or abilities it makes a very OP character.
