Actually I would know because we are apart of the Inquisition and we would know of said astartes assest and their number that would be it though.

Yeah a part of the Ordo Xenos, the Deathwatch - not the Ordo Malleus and certainly not the Grey Knights.

They are too very complete different entities and have no idea of one another's operation.

It's just like the FBI and the CIA don't know of each other what they are doing.

    I'm not worried.

    Avenging-Angel and Uriel1339 like this.

Everyone knows the Ordo Malleus work along side the 666th but only know it as such.

No nobody knows of the 666th (yet). The Ordo Malleus itself is probably the most secretive inquisition of them all and is like only known by name without any idea of their purpose or personnel. Because even the mere existence of daemons is being denied and held secret by the Imperium to it's citzens, because the knowledge of them existing would actually allow to manifest daemons (think Freddy Kruger). So instead in order to protect their people, the Imperium denies the existence of the warp and just be like "Yeaaah you got a witch we need to take care of". And even that often is the Ordo Hereticus which exists much more publically, because they are the witch hunters.

The Grey Knights became much more renown and actually known by other chapters in the later milleniums, see when Uriel Ventris met them on Salinas. He recognized them immediately to be the Daemonhunters. But we are here in the 33rd Millenium, the church just established and the Horus Heresy still being covered up that it ever has been the Emperor's own children who rebelled against them.

Because by the 41st Millenium, Horus is more described as a monster and such, not a former Primarch. Because if the Imperials would know the Emperor's very own son rebelled against him, that would blow their minds.

Will our third generation characters have some continuity?

Yup yup, since after the war of the beast I will only jump like 10-20 years ahead and start officially the 'The Forging' also known as 'The Golden Age of the Imperium'. And with it, this RP once again becomes 100% Alien Hunting & Civilization focused ^^

I thought it was the old take salt in your right hand and throw it over your left shoulder?

That one fist may need to call on there successors for aid rebuilding.

Was making a built if a fatalistic joke again.

Hmmm I may use this later plot for the chapters I made up.

During the golden age can we make suggestions to our local master of forge for experimental weapons? Like a hidden power dagger launcher that can be used all sneaky like?
  9. Uriel1339 Uriel1339 Lord of Posts

    How about no? :p

Because stuff doesn't get invented, it gets re-discovered. Except for a few things such as Navy Ships. Deathwatch Experimental stuff will still happen as it has before, but don't expect silly stuff like you just suggested. Freaking power dagger launcher... That would be the single most ineffective weapon. Considering that power weapons are not easily made (if they were, then every Astartes would run around with one instead of Chain Weapons)

I don't know there have been times where things have been modified. I don't think it would be that ineffective especially if you used it against the right targets and made them explosive. Would be good back up or last resort weapon if your a good shot and are going up against something with hard enough armor that a chains word cant pierce it.
